What changed that made the MAIT report available after 6 years had passed?
and who signs off on the destruction of evidence, no matter how insignificant or trivial it seems, on a death that has not been resolved?
There is one thing that is bothering me and I can’t find any clear information on this. Multiple news articles state that the body of Stephen Smith was found laying face down. However, the crime scene photos and sketches show him lying on his back. So either the body was turned over before making pictures of the crime scene, or the statement of him being found face down is incorrect. But which is it? It makes s big difference in understanding how he might have been struck from his body position.
