OHIO GOVERNOR MAKING SOUTHERN SWING
|| By FITSNEWS || Ohio governor John Kasich will pay another visit to early voting South Carolina later this month.
The fiscally liberal Republican – who used to be a stanch limited government advocate in the U.S. Congress – will attend a Charleston Chamber of Commerce luncheon (at 4500 Leeds Avenue) on Wednesday May 27 at 12:00 p.m. EDT.
Kasich’s Palmetto State visit comes after a stopover in neighboring Georgia, where he will address a pair of county “Republican” organizations.
As this website has made clear, Kasich’s best days are behind him. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was a real pro-freedom, pro-free market champion … but in recent years he’s become just another status quo Republican hack. That makes him not unlike his onetime ideological ally, Mark Sanford – who in addition to veering dramatically to the left later in political life is also keen on discussing his consultations with the Almighty.
(Kasich has repeatedly said he’s waiting on God to tell him whether to run for president or not).
Oh well, at least Kasich isn’t calling us to bitch about the negative coverage he’s received, though …
So props to him for that.

Kasich is the only sane, rational Republican candidate. Ergo, he has no chance in the primaries.

Meanwhile Fits runs almost daily articles decrying our aggressive foreign policy while approving of the candidacy of Ted Cruz who is as much a “hawk” as Lindsay Graham.
Principles are like wet naps, you use them when you need to, then you throw them in the trash once they serve their purpose.
Run one article a day touting or spouting for the ‘publicans, then add in the Hildabeast’s latest soap opera and what have you got? Two whole weeks of political snooze one could write with one eye tied behind one’s back.
The evolving circus that has become the national press-pass time is wearing very thin. When, oh when, will this ever be over? When the blog-o-sphere ratings for politics and like animals is no longer amusing?

I initially read this sentence: “As this website has made clear, Kasich’s best days are behind him.” as this sentence “Just like this website, Kasich’s best days are behind him.”
Yup … a status quo “progressive” tool. Not even a rhino, but some kind of Frankenstein nail together, Karl Rove back bencher.
In Kasich’ case, a rhino means “republican hack in name only”.

I guess you guys forgot to look at the polls, the record and experience. Go look at Johns recent win in Ohio, very impressive. We need to get behind him as he makes all the purple states in play for Republicans. He also will help us win more senate seats and house seats. Remember, it is about winning, not ideology. Kasich/Rubio in 2016.
