Liz Mair, former online communications director for the Republican National Committee, created a limited liability company in October called Trump Card LLC – a super PAC that could collect unlimited funds from individual donors.
The anti-Trump effort is focusing on the two states hosting the earliest nominating contests, Iowa and New Hampshire. In an e-mail to supporters, Ms. Mair said the group has reached out to 150 churches in Iowa, 50 community leaders in New Hampshire and media outlets in both states. She said the group is circulating opposition research about his business record, support for socialized medicine and position on abortion, including recent comments in which he declined to say definitively whether the Supreme Court decision legalizing most abortions should be overturned.
“Where Trump is concerned, many are alarmed at what he says and believes with regard to topics like these when they learn where he really is on these matters,” Ms. Mair said in the e-mail, which was sent before Mr. Trump released his proposal to ban Muslims’ entry to the U.S.
Right … because the GOP establishment is clearly a model of ideological consistency (ahem).
Anyway, “Republicans” have tried this before … and it didn’t work. And while we’re not saying Trump doesn’t have a helluva lot to answer for (he does) … the GOP has lost all credibility when it comes to calling anyone out. On anything.
If they want to take Trump out, they’re going to have to actually kill him … which at this point we wouldn’t put past them.

Actually, yes, many do. Most far right Christians really don’t believe in freedom of religion. They believe in the right to practice Christianity any way you see fit. They want the US to be a Christian nation, not a nation of all faiths being equal in the eyes of the law. They are the same people who want to return prayer to schools, but would go crazy if at 5 o’clock each day, the school broadcast a Muslim prayer. The same people who have no problem with us having a Christmas parade and playing Christmas carols in the streets of our cities, but would go ballistic if we broadcast Muslim prayers in the streets, or had a city funded parade honoring Mohamed. So yes, they have no problem with discriminating against non-Christians.
1- Jihad, defined as “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion,” is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim head of state (Caliph). Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.
2- A Caliph can hold office through seizure of power meaning through force.
3- A Caliph is exempt from being charged with serious crimes such as murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking and in some cases of rape.
4- A percentage of Zakat (charity money) must go towards jihad.
5- It is obligatory to obey the commands of the Caliph, even if he is unjust.

This has nothing to do with my point. In fact it supports my point, that most right wing Christians don’t believe in freedom of religion.
Besides most of these things are not significantly different from the laws of Moses as set out in the Old Testament.
