BILL STERN TO JOIN GOP FRONTRUNNER’S LEADERSHIP TEAM

National/ “First in the South” GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has received the backing of a major South Carolina powerbroker.

Columbia, S.C. businessman Bill Stern – the former chairman of the S.C. State Ports Authority and a major contributor to numerous Palmetto politicians – will not only endorse Trump, he will reportedly join a regional leadership team aimed at guiding the billionaire real estate mogul’s candidacy well beyond this month’s primary election.

This website has frequently done battle with Stern – among the most well-connected political insiders in South Carolina – but there’s no denying his influence over the state’s leading “Republican” elected and appointed officials.

In other words, this is a big “get” for Trump … to say nothing of an unexpected one (not unlike the recent endorsement he received from S.C. lieutenant governor Henry McMaster).

So much for the self-funded campaign propaganda.

I thought Trump would not take money from special interests?
He’s the BIGGEST fraud to ever run for President and you fools just eat it right up.

I must have missed the part where Trump was taking money from anybody.

I guess, but you can’t take every story of Trump receiving an endorsement and equating that to him taking money from special interests.

Just not sure why everyone assumes that because he is wealthy, he can’t be bought.

He does still have a corporation to protect and its legacy to preserve – which requires him to remain a billionaire. With the Donald though, I think he can be bought thru his ego.

The Devil bought his soul years ago.

So there’s that.

At least the price is higher. That is a start in the right direction. ;-)

It’s an odd assortment of frustrated people who imbue Trump with their own hopes and wishes. If Trump’s supporters got together and discussed what they thought Trump would do if elected, they would have Yuge arguments.

I would like to hear details out of Trump. Only issue I’ve seen that he goes into details of is his tax plan. And from the opinions of various tax foundations would just increase our debt. So how is he going to make sure everyone has healthcare, increase the size of the military, build a southern border wall and deport 12 million people.
Manufacturing jobs have been returning to the states in the last few years – but due to automation and stagnant wages it really hasn’t helped uplift blue collar workers. So unless Donald has some plan to deal with that – not much is going to change if anything he did brought back more jobs.
Forget foreign policy – no idea how he plans on handling those issues other than he his going to tell everyone what to do and they will comply.

A lot less odd than the assortment of people who imbue Trump with their own darkest fears and dreads. “He’s a RINO! No, he’s a Democrat! No, he’s a Nazi!, He’s a con-man! No, he’s a white supremacist!”

Whatever, dude.
