FISCAL LIBERAL TANKS AT “REPUBLICAN” DEBATE

There’s been a lot of praise for the “Republican” debate that was hosted on Fox Business channel this week.  Apparently the GOP has nothing to complain about this time … and Barack Obama has nothing to joke about.

Of course one “Republican” candidate has become a joke in the debate’s aftermath: John Kasich.

“I have watched numerous debates over the years with a spectrum of candidates that have gone from the great to the absurd,” Jay Caruso wrote for RedState.com.  “However, I have never seen a candidate come across like such a jerk as John Kasich did (Tuesday) night.”

Wow …

“Kasich may have earned his ticket off the main debate stage,” Charlie Spiering of Breitbart noted.  “His combative, argumentative demeanor with the more conservative candidates on stage might have soured a lot of Iowa and New Hampshire voters.”

Pundits weren’t alone in hating on the fiscally liberal Ohio governor …

According to GOP establishment focus group expert Frank Luntz (who exists to coddle moderate GOP candidates), Kasich “scored the lowest number ever in his history of doing dial focus groups.”

“The focus group was annoyed by Kasich’s constant interruptions,” RealClearPolitics reported.  “One said Kasich went from number two on his list to off of it completely.  Another called Kasich the ‘biggest liberal on that stage’ and that he belonged at a Democratic party debate.”

Yikes …

This website has never had any use for Kasich – at least not the current iteration of the politician.  He may have been a solid, pro-freedom, pro-free market vote in the U.S. Congress decades ago, but over the years he’s evolved into the “biggest liberal.”

Which is why we’ve consistently called him out …

Guess everyone else is clued in now, too.

Kasich is an annoying prick who should have run as a Democrat.

He does seem like a basically decent person, so he should be a Democrat.

Republicans do find decency annoying. Pretending to care about other people can be exhausting for assholes. That’s why he annoys you.

Kasich is TRUE FITS Liberal-tarian. If ever a candidate (poorly) tried to ride both sides, just as FITS does, it’s Kasich.

It’s funny how you all run from who, and what, you are, when it manifests. There are FAR too many liars in control of things…why not quit lying FITS. You’re getting your ass kicked (politically) anyway. No one is fooled…

Two gay roommates wanted to fill in some
time. One says, “Let’s play
hide-and-seek. I’ll hide and you look
for me. If you find me I’ll give you a
blowjob.” The other guy asks, “But what
if I can’t find you?” —— “I’ll be
behind the piano.”

From the start, I thought his only advantage was that he was from Ohio and had a pretty decent record as governor, and in a close Presidential election, being from Ohio would be a plus.
But in the debate, a few nights past, he did not come across well and did absolutely nothing to distinguish himself from the other candidates. At times he was disconcerting.

It is just a matter of time, the thinning of the herd needs to start so the concentration of the Republican candidates can be focused on defeating Hillary.

Campaign Mgmt November 12, 2015 at 3:30 pm

You’re absolutely right. He doesn’t distinguish himself. He sounds far too sensible for republican primary voters. He needs to insult entire ethnic groups. Maybe make up stories about assaulting people with deadly weapons?
Then you guys would like him more, right?

Yes, the size of the herd needs to be reduced. Some of these lower tier candidates appear to be auditioning for Cabinet positions or high level Presidential advisory positions..

Sure. Whatever. Just nominate either Trump or Carson. The two best choices, no?

So here we are the nutty right of the party bashing Kasich. The man is a lifelong Republican, with years of service to the Party and a successful Governor in a very important purple trending blue state.

Even more, the two things the right wing of the Party has made clear is they are sick and tired of hispanics coming into the country and black thugs. Now unless Trump wins the party is either going to end up with an hispanic, who was pro-immigration reform before he wasn’t; or a man who was admittedly a black thug growing up. What a strange place the Republican Party has become.

Kasich is not a lifelong Republican. He changed from Democrat to Republican in congress.

Reply

Bullshit.

Kasich most certainly is a lifelong Republican. Before he was elected in 1982 as Republican to the US House of Representatives, he was elected as a Republican serving in the Ohio State Senate, at age 26. He has never been a Democrat.

I don’t have any particular dislike for Kasich or any of the other Republican Candidates.
But, the time is drawing nigh for the Republicans to pivot and concentrate on Clinton. She is getting a free ride, the Republican’s battle for the nomination is keeping her out of the NEWS. She is still underwater when you poll for honesty and trustworthiness. And those bad numbers for trustworthiness even extends into many purple states and some blue states. It appears to be somewhat ingrained in the electorate and it would be a shame to see that slip away. The woman may have the Democrat nomination locked up, but she is far from a prohibitive favorite in the general election next year.
But then, on the other hand, you got to let the primaries play out.
A real dilemma.

What a misleading headline

Pilloried in this part of the country means two things
1) taking a pillow and slapping someone in the face
2) taking a pillow and shoving it under the opposite sex’s butt to get a better angle of introduction

However upon second glance, using the word to describe a Cockroach crushing himself with his own shoe ain’t a totally unacceptable use of the word

You know what just happened to me. Well, I am going to tell you.
I just returned from being outside to check on my three dogs.
When I checked on my fifteen year old dog, she was sleeping in her doghouse.
I offered her a small treat and actually called her “Hillary.” Her name is “Ellie Mae.”
My question to you is:
Was I getting a subliminal message that Hillary is a dog. Or should “Ellie Mae” run for President. I either have to go buy a flea collar for Hillary or buy “Ellie Mae” a mail server.

This is one reason the professional elected officials (CockRoaches) are on the outs with the Taxpayers and the American people, especially in the South. After serving a few terms, they all think they are Gods, just like the ancient Egyptian, Persian, and other Kings of the day. They feel they are Royalty and become Royal Pains in the ASS! They feel they should rule without question and the Peasants should just shut the Hell up and toil to pay their ever increasing taxes, while they sit in their marble castles, on their bulbous fat Asses and tell the Peasants (taxpayers) how to live and how much their taxes will increase, so the Royal Elite can live higher and better lives at the Peasants (our/their) expense.
The more things change, the more they remain the same.
The corruption is rampant and has been for centuries!
The “Ruling Elite” will create their Dynasties and the rest of us will pay through the nose!
Time for another Revolt?
Send them home to draw their Golden retirements, again, at our (the TAXPAYERS) expense.

One thing for certain is that the GOP must win Ohio in Nov 2016. I like Kasich, but not sure he’s got what it takes in this cycle, to win the nomination. Times have changed dramatically in D.C. since he was last there. His debate performance the other night was awful. When he gets out of the race, most likely after New Hampshire, he’ll become a very effective surrogate for someone.
