ESTABLISHMENT “REPUBLICAN” RE-TRAINS HIS FIRE ON GOP FRONTRUNNER
In advance of tonight’s “Republican” debate in North Charleston, S.C. – which our founding editor will be attending – former Florida governor Jeb Bush has come out with a new television advertisement.
(You know, because all of his previous advertisements have worked so well …)
Bush’s ad – entitled “Enough” – seizes on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump‘s recent mocking of a reporter who has a disability. Bush responded to Trump by calling him a “jerk.”
“Anybody (who) disparages people with disabilities, it sets me off,” Bush said during a recent town hall meeting in New Hampshire. “That’s why I called him a jerk.”

Bush’s ad is interesting in that it represents a pivot …
Recently, his campaign (and the well-funded political action committee supporting it) has been focused exclusively on attacking fellow establishment “Republican” Marco Rubio.
Is this spot an acknowledgement that such a strategy has failed?
Will Bush’s campaign – or what’s left of it – spend its remaining time in this race zeroing in exclusively on Trump?

I doubt that Trump hates Latinos. I don’t, but I also have enough sense to know that hundreds of thousands of illegal invaders coming in via our southern border and placing serious drains on our police, courts, jails, hospitals, schools, and welfare systems, are not good for this country or its citizens and taxpayers. Latinos who are here through legal means, born here to people legally here, or born as citizens like Puerto Ricans, are not a problem. The illegals are.
Women? I believe Trump likes women in general, but may not be a fan of women that are stupid, sames as a lot of old white males.
Asians? Where do you even remotely get that? I don’t recall any issues about Asians. In general terms, I would wager that most Asians are more productive and more intelligent than your average caucazoid.
As far as muslims go, there are a LOT of issues surrounding them in general and a lot of indices, often by their own admission, that many (most?) are incompatible with Western values and lifestyles. Trump just has the wisdom to see that and the balls/spine to call it like it is.

There has been a lot of comment on the differences between the response Haley gave to the State of the Union speech, and the Spanish version given by Mario Diaz-Balart, especially with regard to immigration. Rather than nit-picking over the differences, you should look at the similarities.
Overlooked in all this is the assertion Nikki made to Matt Lauer that she wrote all or most of her speech. If that is the case, she must also have written Diaz-Balart’s speech as well, since his speech is word-for-word identical in translation for the most part.
The real story is that Nikki was chosen, and her speech was written by the Republican “establishment” to hurt Trump in early-voting South Carolina.

Here is what Nikki Haley said about immigration: note the similar wording not the differences that everyone else is noting.
