Columnist Brian Hicks at The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier beat us to the punch on this story, but there was an absolutely hilarious item in the, um, “conspiracy media” this week about an aborted nuclear attack on Charleston, S.C.

The instigator of this alleged aggression? Barack Obama.

According to a cached version of The European Union Times (which sounds like it should be a serious website) a military cable at the Kremlin uncovered evidence of the fallout from Obama’s nefarious “false flag” plan.

“President Barack Obama, while in a rage, ousted four of the United States top ranking military officers after they refused to detonate a nuclear device “in/near” Charleston, South Carolina this past week and, instead, exploded it off the Atlantic Coast,” the report stated.

That would sure have put a damper on the city’s tourism economy, wouldn’t it?

So … who are the four commanders?

“US Navy Vice Admiral Tim Giardina and US Air Force Major General Michael Carey, and two of the US Marines top officers, Major General Charles M. Gurganus and Major General Gregg A. Sturdevant,” the report claimed.

Hmmmm …

According to ABC News, Giardina lost his job as a result of an investigation into “his suspected use of counterfeit gambling chips in a poker game at a western Iowa casino.”

Huh? Okay …

Meanwhile Carey was canned for “behavior during a temporary duty assignment,” according to the UK Daily Mirror.

Gurganus and Sturdevant? According to the Associated Press they were fired for “failing to secure a base in Afghanistan against a Taliban attack that killed two Marines” back in September 2012.

It’s worth noting that with the exception of Giardina, all of these dismissals were reported publicly prior to the date of the alleged nuclear explosion – October 8.

Anyway, this story is obviously every bit as ridiculous as U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham’s contention that radical Muslims were going to nuke Charleston in the event the United States didn’t invade Syria.

They weren’t … and aren’t.

And while the military industrial complex is incredibly desperate these days, we don’t think its leaders are trying to nuke Charleston either.

That statement is so un-TBG.. where is the litotes? the symbolism? the impressionistic nuance? I look forward, daily, to your clever bon mots. Your sentiment is accurate, as always, but, please, use the “edit” button and write something better.

“It’s worth noting that with the exception of Giardina, all of these dismissals were reported publicly prior to the date of the alleged nuclear explosion – October 8.”

That’s because they refused to detonate the device BEFORE it went off. Duh.

I bet there is some stuff from The National Enquirer that isn’t true that you can have an “exclusive” on debunking as well.
Seriously; does this site really make enough money to support a family? I mean this crap makes money?

CNSYD October 16, 2013 at 3:17 pm

Graham never said radical Muslims were going to nuke Charleston. That is typical Sic Willie hyperbole. Graham was merely making a case for Iran not being allowed to have a nuclear program. He was postulating a delivery method that could be used to transport a nuclear device to the US and Charleston was one of the harbor examples used.

Luxomni February 19, 2014 at 11:29 am

I have long said that if it ever happens, that will be the delivery method, a container ship. It wouldn’t even require anyone on the ship to know of its presence. A cell phone detonator. And long before custom checks the cargo, even before the ship is berthed …

There is no way I would live in any seaport city, but I would expect Port of New York or Long Beach, CA long before Charleston.

So a nuke was exploded off the Atlantic Coast, in violation of major international treaties, and neither China nor Russia or any EU country bothered to issue a statement about it? Or It must be Obama controls all US media so effectively that we didn’t hear about that? Beyond ridiculous. The Onion would be embarrassed to write a story that ridiculous. :)

This is no different from the tin foil/ass hattery surrounding the dreaded “default” talk…like there was ever a chance of that happening in the traditional sense(such as shutting down the printing presses) to begin with.

How many times does Lucy get to hold the “default” ball before Charlie Brown wises up and goes on with his daily life while ignoring the histrionics of the MSM with its sky is falling rhetoric?

Alex Jones October 16, 2013 at 3:54 pm

Sources tell me that this conspiracy “theory” was designed by Bilderberg higher-ups and their Pentagon (or, more accurately, Pentagram) friends to draw America into a WAR WITH ISRAEL by putting a Star of David on the nuke. Obama, a *known* Muslim, is said to drink 3 pints of Jewish blood every morning while re-reading Paul Krugman’s secret plan to give America’s gold to Al Qaeda. The recent “defund battle” was a false flag distraction by Sen. Cruz, who is actually a commie plant from Castro’s Cuba.

Just re-reading Horne’s Apollyon Rising, pg323 where Charleston is sited for parallel Luciferic Enthronement ceremony in the Vatican in 1963 because is on the 33.33 parallel & also site of 1st Supreme council Scottish Rite of the Freemasonry in USA. “if a life is taken close to the 33rd parallel, this fits with the Mason’s ‘ demonic mythology in which they demonstrate their worldy power by spilling blood at a predestined local. Also watch film made in the 60’s. of the video of the actual imagined event. Orson Wells repeat, what are the chances?!

Yea right. And I suppose our government reads our email and harvests our email contact lists. I bet our government even listens in our cellphone calls and even knows what websites we visit. OK. Yea, and the NSA allows analysts to search with no prior authorization through vast databases containing emails, online chats and the browsing
histories of millions of individuals. If this was to happen, without the right of privacy, there is no real freedom of speech or freedom of opinion, and so there is no actual democracy. Right?

I guess Russia has nothing better to do than report what they hear with their spy networks. The Russians sure do have the goods on Obama. They should have arrested him at the G-20 for being a homosexual. Right? Those Russians…to save Kerry’s ass just when he was going to crash and burn, then this…get real.

Explain the 4.5 earthquake on Oct 8 off the coast of SC. There’s no fault zone there. Explain why russia is saying this also.

uncle sammy October 29, 2013 at 10:07 pm

There is a fault there. The continental shelf.

romancaesar October 22, 2013 at 3:56 pm

I don’t know “for sure” but this is what I have heard:
There is some evidence that a 4.5 mag disturbance was monitored 620 miles off the SC coast on Oct 8th about 6 miles below surface. This is NO joke. Russia’s military also monitored it. You can also research it. They know the diff between an earthquake and an explosion. This was no earthquake. The military had to get rid of the “evidence”. So they scuttled it and detonated it. Obama was in a rage when he found out. U.S. Military brass began losing their ranks and positions. About 60 percent of the military are now “alert” as to what he is doing – especially because of his little question -“Would you kill American citizens if ordered?”. An Air Force general in charge of our nuclear arsenal was also sacked. You may notice many military personnel not too thrilled about this and Obama and many officers are also being mysteriously ‘dismissed’ for frivolous reasons lately.

Alex jones caught them on 3 sep. after L graham warned of a nuclear blast on the same day. Obama stopped it. It was a neocon effort and the CA and AZ senators were in on it. The nuke was being moved from TX and the state police stopped yhe truck after the base commander let the nuke go without any of the required paperwork.

yaridanjo October 26, 2013 at 9:37 pm

On the same day as the movement of the USA nuke, this happened in the Mideast. I think Obama is innocent of the false flag attack, but I do not support him politically.

John Jett December 2, 2013 at 4:21 pm

Snopes says it is a false rumor so, big deal, has anyone from Snopes been out there where it happened and snapped some photos or took some geiger counter readings? The fact is; at 1:58am 8 October 2013 a single seismic tremor registering 4.5 on the scale at the USGS says something happened all at once 600 miles off the coast of the Carolinas. They even have the location of the epicenter.
I am a diver, a rather impoverished diver at the moment and anyone with the money and the desire to know the truth, hire me and I will swim down there and have a look see for you. That kind of heat ought to make for a lot of glass on the ocean bottom.
Taking geiger counter readings along the downstream areas of the Gulf Stream ought to show something too if it was a nuclear bomb.

EggHead December 2, 2013 at 10:35 pm

F’king Lol, How dumb are you Americans? My Uncle is from Charleston. He’s very famous.

joefriday December 11, 2013 at 2:26 am

Move along ,nothing to see here. Just a normal coincidence theory.

John Jett December 11, 2013 at 5:04 pm

All of this seemed weird and way over the top to me at first. Then I checked the USGS report for 8 October 2013/0158. It shows a 4.5 Magnitude shock off the Carolinas around 600 miles.
Also; Tom Clancy died on the first of October of some mysterious illness. It would make sense that a top military leader would confide in Clancy since a junior officer could suck up to Obama out of ambition and disclose any attempts to do this sort of thing.
Someone should go out there where the shock happened with a Geiger counter and Camera and have a look. The USGS has the coordinates. If some nuke was set off there the sand should be fused to glass and there should still be some radioactivity that would show where the nuke came from.
What does it hurt to have a look see? My name is John and I’m a Diver. If you have the money to invest in a trip out to the Atlantic to see about this; call me at 567-377-2454.

george January 27, 2014 at 6:54 am

We do know a nuke went missing prior to the supposed blast/earthquake.
And why nuke charleston ?

Obama believes he is the reincarnated Abe Lincoln. Charleston fired the first shot in the civil war at Fort Sumpter. Obama wanted to use Charleston for this reason.

Russell C. January 29, 2014 at 2:15 pm

The sad part is people think this is a joke now that all the Military commanders who were tasked with this false flag event have been fired over BS accusations of false poker chips and having sex outside of there marriage have been replaced with those willing to carry out the task is it still funny??

Peggy Kandies March 19, 2014 at 3:10 pm

OK. Let’s look at this realistic. Col.’,Commanders, Admiralsand Generals are the elite of the military and they don’t do stupid stufl like fake chips and the other accusations.I dated a LT.Commander years ago and he was straight by the book. They all guard their reputations and their future retirement status and rank. They are very family oriented.
You are trying to discredit and ruin these men’s careers.
Just because says something is false doesn’t make it reliable or true.
So when Putin said it first, it means it happened. And the earthquake is questionable
and it’s actuality is certainly a big red flag.
