Poll: Support For Obama Imploding

It took America long enough, but it seems the country is finally figuring out its head honcho isn’t everything he was cracked up to be …

The bad news? The country is stuck with Barack Obama for the next three-and-a-half years. The worse news? If the last two elections are any indication, “Republicans” aren’t offering much in the way of a contrast to his big spending, crony capitalist, welfare statist, global interventionist policies.

Anyway … according to the results of the latest Washington Post/ ABC News poll, Obama’s approval rating has plunged to 42 percent (compared to 55 percent who disapprove of his performance). Meanwhile only 41 percent approve of his handling of the economy (compared to 57 percent who disapprove) and only 33 percent approve of his handling of the implementation of Obamacare (compared to 63 percent who disapprove).

Wait … one-third of America actually thinks Obama has done a good job rolling out its socialized medicine law?

Wow. This country really is screwed …

As for Obamacare itself, 57 percent now oppose it compared to 40 percent who support it. Meanwhile 65 percent oppose Obamacare’s individual mandate tax, compared to 34 percent who support it.

Those are terrible numbers, particularly when you consider the sample for the Post/ABC poll consisted of 31 percent Democrats and only 24 percent Republicans.

Looks like the rest of us will be rubbing sticks together for fire soon. Hmmm…wonder if it’ll look like the opening scene to Monty Python’s History of the World for the wealthy bankers, big oil and defense contractors?

He may have been able to organize a community but that seems to be about it.

Chicago? If that is the fruit of his labor, and his buddies Arne Duncan, Valerie Jarrett, Rahm Emmanuel, David Axelrod, Blago, Rezko, Bill Ayers the education terrorist, Rev. Wright, Farrakhan–they bring nothing but destruction and chaos. And now they are doing it to the country.

Politics and politicians in Chicago have been destruction and chaos long before this community organizer came on the scene, he just cut his teeth on them.

Not really, she got out before the implosion.

You reminded me that after her resignation the thought had occurred to me that she probably knew about some things happening behind the screens, and didn’t want the stink on her. She can’t hide from Benghazi, though, and if she has a conscience (which I doubt) that will come back to haunt her in hellish dreams (which I hope for).

No conscience in her. She proved that with the “what difference does it make” comment.

Also, let’s not forget the infamous “Clinton Body Count”, the list of people close to her or her hubby who died under very suspicious circumstances. If she had a conscience, she wouldn’t have slept in many years.

shifty henry November 19, 2013 at 11:12 pm

CiC, you are absolutely correct, and I forgot about her statement on Benghazi — that still burns my asshole and showed her callosness and uncaring attitude. The body count was a while back so I don’t remember how many expired after they were in the White House, other than Foster.
What I do remember in detail is their involvement in Whitewater, the McDougals and the bank, the FDIC, the insurance commissioner, filegate and travelgate, among a few others. My opinion is that they are both scum but she is the most responsible.

You don’t know the difference between a community and Chicago? Obama didn’t make Chicago but he did cut his political teeth on it.

Silence from the wacko leftists. Kiss the Hillary for President goodbye as well.

As Yashanda Baby-Mama says,“You may encounter many defeats, and you will be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to run from the defeats, so you can know who you are, where you came from, how you can still bull shit your way out of it.”

My dear Thomas, your take on everything political is based upon your mind’s preoccupation with Fox News. I for one watch not only Fox but Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews to get a take on the whole pie. The GOP lost in Virginia and the governor there, a Republican, may be indicted soon. The extreme right wing lost a US House race race in Alabama and Louisiana to moderate Republicans. You Tea Party types need to break off and form your own party. Call yourselves the Nullifier Party because that is your aim and purpose. And when you do you will be shredded into the dustbin of history because history shows extremism does not thrive in American politics. Anyone can get on a podium and preach extreme hatred of Obama but the vast swathe of middle America will not go along with it.

uh huh, and mcawful in VA will get exactly 0 of his radical and extremist policies passed in the Virginia house do to a huge R majority… He might as well go golfing with obama and leave the real Americans who can take care of themselves the hell alone

Anybody notice how Lil’ Barry’s color has been changing, not only in the photo here but in other news reports. What is the cause of this? Is it because the blood has slowly been draining from his head? Is it because of fear of failures? Is it because Michelle has cut him off in the bedroom until he “fixes it”…? Perhaps when he turns totally white he will point and yell out that “it was that black dude’s fault!”

“…he [Obama] appears to have misled the public about the scale of the uninsured problem and ObamaCare’s ability to help.” “… First, most uninsured spells are relatively short. A CBO report found that 71% regain coverage they’ve lost within a year, and almost half get it back in four months or less. Only 16% of those went more than two years.” “Such short-term gaps will continue under ObamaCare, since people will still be prone to lose coverage between jobs, and can go up to three months without insurance and still avoid paying the mandate penalty.”
“Census data also show that almost a quarter of the uninsured have household incomes of more than $50,000, which means that many of them won’t be eligible for ObamaCare’s tax subsidies.”

“As many as 6 million who claim to lack coverage are actually enrolled in Medicaid, and another 4 million are eligible for Medicaid but haven’t enrolled,…” ” And 9.5 million aren’t even U.S. citizens according to the Census Bureau.” Combined, these groups account for 42% of the 46 million said to be uninsured. And none of them will benefit from ObamaCare.” “Even the White House has admitted that the 46 million figure was an exaggeration,….” “ObamaCare will still leave about 30 million uninsured by 2023 despite spending $1.8 trillion in subsidies, according to the Congressional Budget Office.” see the entire article: John Merline, Investor’s Business Daily, 11/18/2013

Just like Haley, they are both liars!
A second term for Obama is a disaster!
please don’t strap the good people of SC with 4 more years of Haley. Her lies have already been monumental! Just like Obama, when she does not worry about re-election, can you imagine how bad she will be?
Please people think about what you would be doing!
There is much buyers remorse amoung people I talk with about Haley and Obama. I just hope it is enough to avert a disaster for SOUTH CAROLINA!!!!

Republicans are doing their best to nullify the Obama presidency. They won’t let him appoint judges. They are interfering with the rollout of the Affordable Care Act. I think the chickens will come home to roost. I think people want the GOP to govern, but they refuse. They have no agenda except to obstruct the President. I hope Harry Reid invokes the nuclear option in the Senate.

Obama doesn’t need any help from Republicans to nullify his Presidency, he’s doing a good job of it by himself.

“The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you’re inside,
you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters.
The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these
people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have
to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of
them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight
to protect it.” — Morpheus
