LAWMAKER SUSPENDED FROM S.C. HOUSE …
S.C. Rep. Chris Corley was indicted by a grand jury in Aiken County, S.C. this week, leading to his immediate suspension from office by S.C. House Speaker Jay Lucas.
Corley was charged with one count of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and one charge of pointing and presenting a firearm in connection with a December 26 incident that allegedly took place at his home in Graniteville, S.C.
News of Corley’s arrest broke exclusively on this website. Since then, damning evidence has emerged in connection with Corley’s arrest.
This website has already called on him to step down …
Corley’s case will be prosecuted by S.C. attorney general Alan Wilson, who received a referral in the matter from S.C. second circuit solicitor J. Strom Thurmond, Jr.
