|| By FITSNEWS || Walmart won’t sell you a cake with a Confederate flag on it … but you can get a cake bearing the flag of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the latest manufactured enemy in the United States’ “War on Terror.”
Chuck Netzhammer tried to get a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana to bake him a Confederate flag cake – complete with the inscription “heritage not hate” – but the store refused. Walmart did, however, comply with his request to bake him a cake bearing the flag of the militant Islamic nation.
“Alright, Wal-Mart, you’ve got some explaining to do,” Netzhammer said in a video posted to his YouTube page. “I went to go buy a cake from you all the other day with (the Confederate flag) on it and y’all wouldn’t do it. I went back yesterday and managed to get the ISIS battle flag.”
Crazy? Yes.
Netzhammer added that ISIS was “beheading Christians and selling little girls into slavery … and is currently a terrorist (organization) at war with the United States. But you can’t buy the General Lee toy car at Walmart? It’s a damn shame.”
The Confederate flag has been a focal point of controversy in the aftermath of this month’s horrific, racially motivated church shooting in Charleston, S.C. There, nine black parishioners at the historic Mother Emanuel AME Church were murdered at the hands of a 21-year-old white supremacist who posed with the flag.
Walmart is one of the major national retailers boycotting the banner in the aftermath of the tragedy.
“An associate in a local store did not know what the design meant and made a mistake,” a Walmart spokesperson said. “The cake should not have been made and we apologize.”

When I first moved to SC I was watching the local news on TV. A woman was being interviewed about a Family Dollar store that had just opened and why she liked to shop there. Honest to God her answer, “You don’t have to get dressed up like when you go to Walmart”.

Any group can request to hold a rally at the State House as long as its grounds are available, said Brian Gaines, a spokesman for the S.C. Budget and Control Board.
The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan requested the rally from 3 to 5 p.m. on July 18, Gaines said. The Klan is expecting 100 to 200 to attend, according to a copy of its state event form.
Calling itself the “Largest Klan in America,” the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan are based in Pelham, N.C., according to the group’s website.

Just for the record, ISIL came on the scene right about the time obama was tooting his horn about how he pulled us or of Iraq. Again, for the record, the draw down was planned before Obama ever won the primary but we had planned it responsibly. Obama’s minions sped the process up and left nothing behind to ensure that a semi stable regime was left in place. Everything that happened was predicted and the Obama administration was repeatedly warned about the consequences of their actions.
Iraq won’t be a civil democracy unless we occupy it for all eternity. No thanks. Biggest waste of tax dollars, propping up democracy in an area of the world that wants nothing to do with it.

Which air base in the MIDDLE of Iraq are you referring to? Baghdad International is still in use. Maybe you are referring to the air bases in Mosul or Balad which were planned for drawdown
The REAL big air bases are in Kuwait and Quatar and are still there and can support any aircraft in the United States inventory. Warthogs (A-10’s) can “hang out there” anytime they are required to do so but A-10’s are being phased out (BIG mistake INMHO)

There aren’t enough C-17s in existence to matter for the mission I’m talking about – the threat of “possible action” doesn’t work in SWA. The very existence of two heavy brigades sitting near K Crossing and Navistar or south near Wafra would have a stabilizing effect like no other.
An Armor Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) has 90 M1s, 90 Bradleys and a metric assload (200+) of assorted other armored and non-armored support vehicles. Even if we used all 233 C-17s the US owns we couldn’t move an ABCT in a week because of the lack of airfields, ability of airfields to handle the traffic (MOG) blah, blah blah. Having the equipment on the ground means you don’t have to ask permission to land there.
Treat is like an NTC rotation (maybe 4 months at a time) and get some real range time/training out of it and you’ll have a better trained Army and a real stabilizing force in the region – that’s why we’re in Kuwait in the first place.
