|| By FITSNEWS || A woman in St. Matthews, S.C. was arrested this week and charged with stealing money from the booster club of the local high school band.
(Cue sad trombone).
Charlene Lewis Fludd, 41, was the treasurer of the Calhoun County High School band’s booster club. She has been charged with breach of trust and fraudulent intent related to the theft of “more than $2,000 and less than $10,000” from the organization, according to the S.C. State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
That crime is a felony, and if Fludd is convicted she could spend five years behind bars.
