Moo U Represent

Everybody loves a parade … especially one which gives them an opportunity to stand up in a crowd of complete strangers and yell out: “Moooooooooo Youuuuuuu!”

And that’s exactly what our website’s founding editor did (to a smattering of jeers) at this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Columbia, South Carolina …

What prompted this display of effusiveness? An orange and white Clemson University tractor complete with a 2011 ACC champion license plate (above).

Lamentably, the tractor was the lone “Moo U” representative in the parade (no farm animals or overall-clad inbreds were in tow). There was a herd of Chick-fil-A cattle, though, which given the Tigers’ gut-check victory over No. 8 Louisiana State in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl was probably a much better representative of the school …

Hold on there a minute bubba you are about to pick a fight you cannot win

Overalls,or the preferred term Bibs, have been around since 1792 which just happens to be the last time you got any.

Personally I still posses the first pair of Bibs I wore over 65 years ago.

In 1995 when I retired the first thing I did was put every suit, tie, white shirt, belt, dress shoe in a Goodwill bin.

The next thing I did was buy 5 pair of Bibs and from that moment until this moment Bibs are the only thing I wear.

As for the “inbred” comment how about on Monday take a stroll over to the State House and later post how many goddamn inbred sons of bitches cockroachs did you see dressed in a fucking suit.

Funny considering Clemson outranks USC in most academic areas.

I saw the tractor and told my wife that this must be the car of the future that Clemson has been building

That would be the John Deere tractor that displaced your Granddaddy from subsistence farming.

Sic Willie has such disdain for Clemson and farmers that he will refrain from eating food ever again. We should be so lucky if that were true.

Yep, there’s no easier target than those hardworking farmers who earn an honest, backbreaking living as opposed to, say, douchebag gossip bloggers. And this from a fan of a school that celebrates it’s bloodsport heritage by playing a barnyard See’N’Say at their sporting events. “The rooster says…”
