That gorgeous, gleaming structure pictured above is the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Ormond Beach, Florida. The facility is run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church … and is in fact about to become known by its new name, Advent Health.
Why are we writing about it?
Because that’s where our founding editor Will Folks has been for the last two days (and where he is likely to remain for the next few days) as his three-year-old son, Sebastian, receives treatment for a yet-to-be-determined respiratory issue contracted during a Christmas vacation to Daytona.
Hopefully little “Sebi” will continue to show improvement … (so far things are moving in the right direction after some very scary moments on Friday).
In the meantime, we appreciate everyone’s thoughts, prayers … and patience (especially the patience of our subscribers).
Our founding editor will be back in the saddle very soon …
