South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick released the following statement on Tom Perez and Martin O’Malley campaigning for Archie Parnell in SC-05:

“As Frank Underwood-wannabe Archie Parnell lags behind by a wide margin, it is a wonder why he would call on DNC Chair Tom Perez and failed presidential candidate Martin O’Malley to reinvigorate his campaign. Perez and O’Malley represent everything the voters of South Carolina’s Fifth District have rejected time and again: big government, gun control, abortion on demand, increased taxes, burdensome regulations, and so much more. These D.C. elites’ shared values – coupled with Perez’s vulgar rhetoric – offer nothing but more of the same harmful policies that are bad for South Carolina and bad for our country. I am confident that South Carolinians will once again roundly reject the Democrat Party at the ballot box.”
