Remember that “ghetto clown” story? Apparently it’s a thing …
Reports of clowns in South Carolina attempting to lure children into the woods using wads of cash and green laser lights have gone viral … even though there’s no evidence yet to suggest these elusive stalkers actually exist.
The clowns are said to be congregating in the woods near Fleetwood Manor – a Section 8 housing complex located in Greenville, S.C.
Children at the complex first reported seeing the clowns last Sunday (August 21) – and Greenville County, S.C. sheriff’s deputies have taken a break from other endeavors to step up their patrols in the area.
So far, they have found no clowns …
Nonetheless, the story has gone viral … with dozens of traditional news outlets, new media websites and social media threads picking it up.
We wonder … is this another “Lizard Man” situation?
