AMERICA NOW BOMBING THE REBELS IT PREVIOUSLY FUNDED …

By FITSNews  ||  With congressional authorization in his back pocket, U.S. president Barack Obama stepped up American military aggression against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) this week.

Already fighting ISIS in Iraq, Obama this week extended the military offensive to Syria – where as recently as six months ago Americans were arming forces linked to the terrorist network.

Flip, flop …

And while America’s military brass are already proclaiming the “success” of the first round of airstrikes, make no mistake: It will be impossible for the United States to defeat ISIS without American troops being sent into these countries (a.k.a. “boots on the ground“).  That’s especially true in Syria, where one of America’s most important “allies” in the new War on Terror recently signed a non-aggression pact with ISIS.

America has been funneling arms into Syria for months in the hopes of ousting the administration of president Bashar al-Assad.

How’s that effort been going?  Not well …

“The CIA training of the rebels thus far has resulted in a direct pipeline of weapons from ‘vetted moderates’ to the al-Qaeda affiliated al-Nusra Front and to the very ISIS that the administration claims to be fighting,” former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul wrote this week.  “In July, a full brigade of 1,000 fighters from a US-backed rebel group joined ISIS!  Of course they took their US-provided weapons and training with them, some of which will certainly be used against the rapidly increasing US military personnel in the region.”

But hey … let’s keep sending weapons, troops and money to the Middle East with no real strategy beyond feeding the insatiable war gods.

What could possibly go wrong, right?

Reagan did that and KILLED that evil some beech. Of course, Reagan was not corrupt like your god-Obama…and the corrupt fail (see Obama and Putin) where a real American had already succeeded.

My god? Who the fuck are you to make that decision? My God is Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I’ll quote scripture all the way up your ass. Grandson of a Baptist preacher and a tough sumbitch from the Navy. Fuck Obama. Fuck your God Reagan. Wait. Grand T. is that you?

I just want everyone to know, when they show up at the gates of hell, and see the word “REAGAN” in Cyrillic runes above the gates… that it was *my* suggestion to rename it!

Yeah: You’re having to UP the Ante, after Obama followed you, and RonPaul’s advice, and stuck it up our Ante, so that now brutal terrorists are kicking your Ante all over the mid-east

Best way to combat Liberalism, is to get out of the way, and watch it fail.

GT: I’m sorry. I can’t help myself. I just have to say this. Your writing sucks; spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc. Attention to detail, please.

I suggest this. http://books.google.com/books/about/Just_Writing.html?id=5fo6AQAAIAAJ

What are you *thinking*? What if he actually *improves*?

You might be helping to create a new airborne, intelligence-resistant strain of the tea party… one that can spell and eke out coherent, simple messages with something approaching the skill of one whose first language is English… how will we discern them from the more pedestrian trolls?

It’s effective though, isn’t it? Otherwise ALL of you vapid, leftwing, Anti-American low-brows would not hate me to a degree that you spend all of your time, thinking that if you could just eliminate me, you would not be seen as failures and ignorant.

Muslim Obama fired 48 Tomahawk missiles last night. He eliminated that weapon a couple of years ago. We only have 100.Most effective weapon we have.

Fitting Obama is leading a Muslim coalition.

“War On Terror II” did the terrorist stop terrorizing for a period of time, is that why we now have WOTII?

Don’t worry, the targets may change, but the defense contractors getting paid are the same.

Poor choice of “accompaniment art” there Will – that’s a RGM-84 Anti Ship Missile at about $2,000,000 a shot.
We’re shooting BGM -109 Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles at ISIL for about $1,500,000 a pop.

I doubt he knows the difference between an M1 and M16.

Reply
The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 2:11 pm

M1? Hmmmm, tank, rifle or carbine?

Reply
idcydm September 23, 2014 at 4:25 pm

You tell me, is there an M16 tank? Hmmmmm

Reply
The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 5:00 pm

Actually, the Italians had a Fiat tank known as the M-16 and we had a half track called the M-16

idcydm September 23, 2014 at 5:04 pm

M16/43 to be exact but that wasn’t in our arsenal.

The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 5:27 pm

I don’t think they ever actually built the thing either. The M-16 half track was pretty cool

euwe max September 23, 2014 at 12:11 pm

well then, that’s a *bargain* – we can shoot 3 tomahawks for the same price as 2 anti-ship missiles. I wonder if they can be adapted to replace the RGMs?

if only plutonium was a dollar a pound, then we could make some POLICY!

Reply
The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 12:56 pm

Why does the cost of plutonium matter – the US has something on the order of 250 tons of fuel grade plutonium. In fact we have far more weapons and “civilian” grades of plutonium than any other country.

euwe max September 23, 2014 at 1:29 pm

If we use any, we’ll have to put it back.. and it’s not cheap.

The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 1:41 pm

I’d not worry about it – we just took all of Japan’s for free. Storage fees are a bitch though

euwe max September 23, 2014 at 2:31 pm

Aren’t you guys… like loaded to the gills with nuclear storage sites that are leaking into the water table?

If there was that much fissionable material there, you’d think someone would find a reason and a country to set it off in!

Maybe it’s all a huge hoax – like reality.

The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 4:03 pm

No, just the one big one down at the SRS and it’s leaking into the Savannah so no big deal, most of the pollutants wind up in the ocean…

The Colonel September 23, 2014 at 2:25 pm

Could be a lot worse, they also used the ridiculous F-22 Raptor as a bomber for this mission. They cost (as of today) $356,382,978 a piece (188 planes divided by the $67 billion procurement cost).

The price of losing just one would buy 237 proven (and unmanned) TLAMs. An hour of F-22 flight time costs about $15,000 and they generally have a critical malfunction every 1.7 hours.
