Congressman Duncan (SC-03) released the following statement today regarding the President’s Administrative Change to ObamaCare:
“Yesterday, President Obama announced that if you like your health plan you can keep it…for one more year…maybe. The President’s ‘administrative fix’ is an attempt to create a lifeboat for ObamaCare to get his party through the 2014-midterm elections. The President’s actions appear to be unconstitutional and don’t change the fact that he’s still breaking his promise by not ensuring people can keep their health plans, and then only allowing people to keep their plans for another year.
By only giving people a possible one year insurance extension, the President is showing that he cares more about winning the upcoming elections than he does about keeping his word. This isn’t about a broken website, this is about broken promises and a healthcare law that simply doesn’t work.”

Why in the hell anyone – other than the hopeless, idiotic Obamazombie sychophants of course – believe anything that comes out of The Onion president’s mouth?
How about the promise he made to the Israeli people, that he had their backs and would never let Iran get a nuclear weapon? Or how about his promise to enforce a “red line” in Syria?
Or how about his promise to “never rest” until we caught the terrorists who killed our ambassador and three other Americans in Libya? Or how about the attacks themselves being caused by a “shady guy with a video”?
Or how about the many times he said he would “never rest” until every American who wanted a job had one?
Or how about his pledge to change the tone in Washington? Or to go through the budget “line by line” and cross out the waste driving up the deficit?
Or how about the promise to put all healthcare debates on C-SPAN during the 2008 campaign? Or how about the promise to be the most “transparent administration in history?”
And then, of course, the biggest and most deliberately deceiving statement of all: if you like your plan, you can keep it. Nobody will take it away from you.
My advice would be to believe this guy and what his teleprompter tells him to say at your own risk. Joe Wilson had him pegged right all along.
