WIDE RECEIVER’S CAREER AT SOUTH CAROLINA IS OVER

University of South Carolina wide receiver D.L. Moore will not play in the 2013 Outback Bowl due to an unspecified violation of team rules – ending his career as a Gamecock.  Sources close to the program tell FITS Moore failed a drug test.

The 6-foot-5, 198-pound senior wideout from Bowling Green, Kentucky caught eight passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns this season.  Almost half of that yardage came on one play – a 62-yard reception against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Take a look …

In four years at USC, Moore caught 40 passes for 454 yards and six touchdowns – however he dropped numerous passes as well.  Moore has the size and speed to play at the next level – although it remains to be seen whether he has the hands.

Whatever happens, we wish him the best …

Head coach Steve Spurrier’s tenth-ranked Gamecocks (10-2, 6-2 SEC) take on No. 18 Michigan (8-4, 6-2 Big Ten) in the Outback Bowl on January 1 in Tampa, Florida.  South Carolina is an early five-point favorite over the Wolverines.

Just one of many hoods. SC has sold itself out to compete at any cost. Spurrier doesn’t care, he is heading toward retirement in a few years. He does not have the integrity he used to have but does still have the mouth.

I wonder what you will do with your mighty ACC beliefs when Duke and Wake leave to join the 7 big east basketball schools that just left, now that the ACC is “selling out” by letting in the worst school in D1 in Louisville, and has Pitt and Miami in there too. Kind of brings down that integrity you mention as a whole if that does happen. Duke and Wake will not take it much longer Georgia Tech is already looking elsewhere too. Where will your self-righteous ignorant ass be then? Trying to find another way to twist the truth that you are a low and unimportant person in life and must act as if you are better than people you really aren’t perhaps? Kind of what you do now.

toyota the jap,

so what you are saying is that the Presidents of Duke, Wake and GT lied.

“We, the undersigned presidents of the Atlantic Coast Conference, wish to express our commitment to preserve and protect the future of our outstanding league. We want to be clear that the speculation about ACC schools in negotiations or considering alternatives to the ACC are totally false. The presidents of the ACC are united in our commitment to a strong and enduring conference. The ACC has long been a leader in intercollegiate athletics, both academically and athletically, and the constitution of our existing and future member schools will maintain the ACC’s position as one of the nation’s premier conferences.”

Lied? Perhaps, or maybe forced to for appearances and the TV contracts by the conference. As everything you have seen lately with all teams jumping from conference to conference you really think a signature on a piece of paper 100% guarantees they will stay in? The 7 Big East schools had presidents at one time or another sign a form too I am sure, but yet here they are leaving. I have a friend that is a big-time Clemson alumni and booster and he still tells me to this day Clemson is talking about the Big 12 and he says if the SEC would ask they would leave in a second for it. I don’t believe him but he does say it. I am sure that Maryland at some point signed its commitment to the ACC but they aren’t in it anymore. They had to sign for appearances. Why sign if it isn’t a done deal yet at the other conference, and be stuck hanging out to dry? And we all know it’s a joke if Louisville, who is the lowest rated BCS school academically in all of D1, signed where it says “The ACC has long been a leader in intercollegiate athletics, BOTH ATHADEMICALLY and athletically” If you are the worst you aren’t a leader. Or maybe you are. Dabo is the leader of the Tiger’s football team and we see outside of that cream puff in conference schedule the Clemson has he can’t lead a team to a win. (That’s where the
“leaders athletically” come in to the joke too). Those signatures don’t mean anything, and yes there are still rumors about schools leaving if the right offer were to come along.

ATHADEMICALLY. Thanks for validating SEC academics.

Ooohh I wrote one word too quickly so you stereo-type an entire conference’s academics. OK then thanks for validating ACC ignorance because I didn’t go to an SEC school. I played baseball at Newberry for 4 years and got my degree from there. It still doesn’t change the fact your conference sucks compared to all others out there in D1. I am, and always will be, a fan of the Gamecocks first, I just wasnt good enough to play for them, and since this is baseball I talking about, and they have won 2 of the last 3 national titles, and were the runners up in the 3rd, there isnt one damn thing wrong with that.

Hoods? Are you kidding me. #21 Marcus Lattimore is a hood? Last time I checked Clemson’s best two players – one of them got arrested for smoking weed and eating adderall (he has a mouth full of gold teeth by the way) the other is named after a baby pacifier (http://www.nuk-usa.com/) and was “baptized” in a trash can on the practice field by a cheerleader coach. Because one of South Carolina’s bench riders smoked some pot hardly means Spurrier is selling his soul.

Clemson has to feel like dummies. They pay their OC the highest wage of any assistant coach in America. However he tested the waters for many head coaching jobs and no one wants him. What does that tell you? They are overpaying the hell out of him. Against quailty defenses what has Clemson’s genius coach done? Nothing. Thats what.

Please supply your proof that Dabo baptized Hopkins.

look out,

The question isn’t whether or not Hopkins was baptized on the practice field. The question is whether Dabo performed the baptism as implied by Ted Nugent. Dabo did NOT perform the baptism. It was performed by an ordained minister. Nothing in the below link indicates Dabo performed it.

The SEC can’t stay on top forever. Clemson will set the pace for next year with a sound ass whooping against LSU at the peach bowl (which is way better than the Outback bowl). For it is the circle of life. The end of the world will not be 12/21/12, no it will be 11/30/13 with thousands of crying faces in Willy Brice when Clemson cuts that ass.

Thanks for the funniest thing I have read in a while. Seriously I almost pissed myself from laughing at that funny shit. LSU by 14 and 5 in a row next year. Clemson is the most overated team in D1. Dabo cant beat real teams. CU next year.

Clemsux December 16, 2012 at 2:13 pm

you do realize that the Peach bowl is actually only rated 1 spot over the Outback for the SEC. To make it as fair as they can they take the 5th best in the SEC vs the 2nd best in the All Cupcakes Conference. #2 vs #5 is what they do to try to help your conference and still the ACC will get beat down this year.

Skeet, y’all sad kitties need to shut up UNTIL y’all beat us again.

So, start now. Nobody wants to hear your BS prognostication, anyway.

Yes Ted Nugent, hoods and Spurrier is willing to win at all costs. Make fun of CU, ACC and Dabo all you want . At least they have integrity. If SC and SEC are happy with their total emphasis on sports so be it. The ACC has so much more class. The SEC began years ago taking the student out of student-athlete. Do you remember why your glorious SC quit the ACC? Entrance requirements…..sound familiar.

Beat a woman with a towel rod? Aint no thing for Dabo.

Spurrier has never tolerated violence against females. EVER in his career. Dabo and company are convenient Christians.

You are correct. Look at this one

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3457784

Now Dabo wasn’t Head coach then, but was the assistant for 5 years there. It’s a recurring theme for crime that Dabo is a part of by that. If Dabo had a problem with it he had 2 months to kick him off the team, but he wanted “to win anyway” against USC so he didn’t. It’s the only time Dabo has won too.
