Why can’t we just let the natural consequences of social shame and ostracization – and all its downstream ramifications- do its job against bad but not criminal people instead of crafting legislation that will then later be twisted into a lawfare tool to be used by the commies and marxist to persecute their political enemies? When a society or community figures out someone is truly a bad person for the way they treated someone, it eventually gets out (and in this day & age, that happens in days and hours, not months and years) and the bad actors lose their jobs, get their contracts dumped, lose business, become social lepers and their fortunes of life take a nosedive. Righteous social shaming has real power that is delivered without having to clog the courts.
