This is about Davis filing lawsuits three years ago and then for years completely and absolutely refusing to do anything to comply with rules regarding discovery or court orders. He’s had every opportunity to participate in litigation he filed and flat refused to do so. Now he has to pay the piper.
He f’ed around in court, and now he’s finding out. He’s not getting treated any differently than any other litigant.
Davis could have better managed his office and even got out of politics in order to do the right thing. Although I have empathy for his health issues, he has a moral obligation that he is not fulfilling. He needs to sell some assets and pay up!

Jeff Davis is a complete dick. Let him spend Thanksgiving and Christmas in the Newberry County Detention Center. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
The man is close to being on his deathbed with colon cancer and the judge can’t wait for the cash?
