State of SC Clown World April 14, 2026 at 1:46 pm

It has become imperative to clean out scores of employees at SCDOT. Your own lives now depend on it

Those who are truly observent see it. Many major state roads and highways, the lane striping and the yellow painted medium marking is so worn away and dirty, at night you can NOT see them. It has been as long as 10 to 15 years since they have been repainted! NO G- DAMN EXCUSE for this. SCDOT Managers MUST be removed. They are lazy do nothing’s. Very incompetent.

As many as 15000 vehicles a night travel in these conditions in the worst places. Even City and County government leaders flat out are not doing what they are paid to do

What’s the problem? They waiting for people and their loved ones to DIE on these state heavily traveled roads and highways?.

Can we prosecute these incompetent morons in charge of these conditions with criminal offenses? Of course we can. And it needs to happen.

I dunno, I looked into this bill and it feels well thought out. From what I’ve read, seems like the Legislature spent a year+ on this process and traveled around the state to hear input. This guy’s name didn’t come up once, which tells me he really didn’t engage with the process, and is just looking to knock something down. The biggest hurdle for transportation projects in SC is funding. each year infrastructure gets more expensive, and the reality is that for some reason, a crazy majority of our roads in SC are “state owned”. Getting that streamlined, helping projects coordinate better, and providing more funding makes sense. I don’t know what the alternative is, as this really doesn’t detail one that’s realistic lol. ¯\_(?)_/¯
