Those who follow him on Facebook or Twitter already know this, but our news site’s founding editor, Will Folks, was hospitalized over the weekend with a 105.4 degree fever.  The diagnosis?  Pneumonia.

He is headed back to his family sometime this week, although it won’t be an especially joyful homecoming … at least not right away.

Why not?  As of this writing his lovely wife and several of their young children are being ravaged by the flu epidemic that’s running rampant across the country this winter.

That’s the hope, at least.

Anyway, we’ve got literally dozens of stories on tap and can’t wait to get to all of them … but for now we appreciate everyone’s patience (especially the patience of our loyal subscribers).

As we’re fond of saying, “developing …”
