FITSNewsSOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN ADDRESSES LATE-TERM “DISMEMBERMENT” ABORTIONS …
South Carolina’s largest social conservative organization, Palmetto Family, has launched a new campaign targeting late-term “dismemberment” abortions.
And it’s not for the faint of heart …
The group’s campaign contains some pretty graphic depictions – displayed in the form of artist’s renderings – as part of an effort to build support for H. 3548, a bill that would ban dismemberment abortions in the Palmetto State.
Here’s the clip …

Yeah …
Even in “cartoon” form those are some pretty graphic images – although as the Kermit Gosnell and Planned Parenthood scandals revealed, sometimes jarring visuals like that are necessary to force people to confront what so-called “choice” really looks like.
Will state lawmakers be goaded into action as a result of this clip? Or will they merely pay lip service to the issue … only to abandon it later?
We shall see …
The early signs are not encouraging (if you are a pro-lifer). Two months after it was filed, H. 3548 has yet to even receive a hearing in the S.C. House judiciary committee.
Hmmm …
This website prefers not to beat its Bible. Nor do we seek to impose our definitions of morality on others. However when it comes to the issue of life, our allegiance to the code of true libertarianism – to say nothing of the code of humanity – compels us to make an exception. Especially in the case of these brutal, late-term procedures.
Without life, none of the other liberties matter. And unless you defend the first liberty, you simply cannot claim (with any credibility, anyway) to defend the others.
Props to Palmetto Family for its defense of that liberty … even if it makes some viewers uncomfortable.
