Today, Governor Nikki Haley delivered her State of the State address. Sheheen for South Carolina released this response from Sen. Vincent Sheheen:

“Leadership means action and accountability, not just words. Once again, words are all we get from Nikki Haley. For three years we’ve listened to Nikki Haley talk and for three years we’ve watched her fail to lead. South Carolinians watched her oppose expanding four-year-old kindergarten and fail to put forward any ideas on education until it was election time. They lived through her cover-up of a hacking at the Department of Revenue that compromised the security of 3 million South Carolinians. And they’ve heard her talk about using a magical, make believe ‘money tree’ to pay for desperately needed repairs to our state’s roads and bridges. That’s not the leadership South Carolinians deserve. South Carolinians deserve a government that works and works for them. And when government doesn’t, they don’t need excuses, they deserve action and results. It’s time for new leadership and real accountability.”

“Leadership means action and accountability, not just words….” You are correct, Vinny. And your support for Jean Toal and a continuation of her corrupt reign is and action for which you will be held accountable. Thank you for the assistance in putting the final nails in your election bid coffin.

Grow up and do the right thing, Vinny. The judges all below your Uncle Bob’s bff are respectfully asking you for help. Toal is that bad and you know it. The entire judiciary needs helps in returning to it being an honorable profession. Not the backroom near mafia like situation in which so many judges find themselves. now. A judge never knows when she/he is going to get one of those dreaded messages, “The chief justice is on the line.” One never knows what “favor” or “serious consideration” one is to provide one of her friends in a case/hearing/or trial. Thank about it, Vinny. We are watching you.

He must have a record of supporting corrupt leaders. He contributed money to Beth Burn Watson’s run for the District V School Board. She is about the nastiest Board member you could run into. Has no tolerance for any opinion other than her own. Voted herself and the other Board members a huge increase going from roughly $3,000 a year to $10,000 a year. And voted to raise taxes again.

True. He does what the ole time white Democratic Party elite tell him to do. The last nail in his political coffin will be when he votes for Jean Toal in a couple of weeks. Nikki’s people are ready for it. I heard today that Dick Harpootlian is pulling the strings. Dick and Jean are close buddies. It’s over for Vincent.

Great, entertains speeches like Haley”s are those not constrained by fact, morality or honor. It is easy to captivate when one lies.

I yearn for honor in our elected officials.

Watched the speech on ETV. A reporter talked about minute with several different legislators. Harvey Peeler had the best line of the evening. When asked about Nikki Haley’s speech, he said something like, ” After four years, I can’t believe she still has the new car smell.”

Video of State of the State and politician comments afterwards. Harvey Peeler talks about the Governor’s “new car smell” @ the 50:40 mark.

That’s a pretty weak response, Vinny. You continue to underwhelm me.

PLEASE someone run against these two in the primaries!

Governor Haley is the best governor that SC has seen in years. She has continually done what she said that she would do, which is create jobs! Gov. Haley truly cares about the citizens of SC and has done more for this state than any other democrat could dare dream of doing. I support her 100% and believe that she would make a wonderful President! I don’t care what anyone else says, but Nikki Haley is a wonderful governor, and we should strongly support her in all that she does!

Leadership like Obamacare has produced. Something that has been forced down the throats of Americans that do not want it and more people actually losing their insurance. Of course leadership that boos the name of God,flaunts evil and rewards laziness. As long as Democrats live the Devil can leave his work up to them.
