KENNY BINGHAM VERSUS BOBBY HARRELL?
This website spent the better part of 2014 blistering former S.C. Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell.
We were the first media outlet in the state to call on him to resign – and the first media outlet to report on his eventual decision to step down as part of a plea deal on six ethics violations.
In addition to bashing Harrell, we also went after the shadowy network of new media outlets erected to defend the former Speaker from his attackers.
It’s interesting, then, that outgoing S.C. Rep. Kenny Bingham is reportedly attempting to serve Harrell (and several of his former operatives) with subpoenas related to his ongoing libel case against this website and its founding editor, Will Folks.

Last week, this website exclusively reported that Harrell had been called to testify in connection with the ongoing investigation into corruption at the S.C. State House – news that further inflamed the panic currently gripping “Republicans” in the S.C. House of Representatives.
