“GOTTA WANT …”
Dear Editor,
In your article about labor participation rates you failed to identify the real underlying cause: People are just not willing to work.
There are job offer signs everywhere but they may not be the 9-to-5 desk job. I contend that if you want to work there are jobs to be had.
Gotta want.
Sincerely,
James Stephens

SIC SEZ …
James: I make it a point not to argue with people when they are correct. And you are absolutely correct. Part of the problem with a society that incentivizes dependency (like ours) is it makes people forget what work is. Thanks for reminding us! Also thanks for reminding us that we need to revive our “Jobs Board” feature again soon.
