TREASURER ADDRESSING MIDLANDS GOP GROUP …
South Carolina treasurer Curtis Loftis will address the First Tuesday Republican Club of the Midlands this week, according to a news release from the organization.
Loftis will discuss “pension reform, unclaimed money, and other matters important to S.C. taxpayers,” the group’s release noted.
One of the Palmetto State’s few genuine articles when it comes to protecting taxpayers, Loftis has spent the past six years leading the charge to reform the state’s woefully mismanaged pension fund.
Unfortunately, state leaders didn’t listen to him – creating a costly disaster for taxpayers.
Loftis’ remarks will be delivered at The Hall at Senate’s End (316 Senate Street) in downtown Columbia, S.C. on Tuesday June 6. Check in for the event begins at 11:30 a.m. EDT with the presentation beginning at around 12:00 noon EDT.
