ANDERSON, SC, April 17, 2017— Businessman Richard Cash was endorsed on Monday, April 17th by the Club for Growth. The Club for Growth is a politically active conservative group that advocates for limited government, fiscal responsibility and school choice.
“During your campaign, you have demonstrated a steadfast devotion to lowering the tax burden on South Carolina families, creating an efficient and accountable state government, eliminating wasteful spending, protecting South Carolina small businesses from onerous regulations, and expanding educational opportunities for our school children,” stated R.J. May III, the Executive Director of South Carolina Club for Growth.
When asked about the endorsement, Richard Cash said, “I’m honored by all those who have come out in support of my candidacy and I appreciate the Club for Growth’s support.”
“I believe in fiscal responsibility and through my years as a father, small business owner, and a conservative, I know how to balance a budget and I will protect the tax dollars of South Carolina’s citizens.”
Richard Cash is also the only candidate to receive endorsements from previous candidates who ran for the District 3 seat: James Galyean, Dean Allen, and Corey Bott.
The Republican Primary Runoff takes place on Tuesday, April 25th.
