If you have a landline in early-voting South Carolina, the last few weeks have been a living hell for you.
That’s why we don’t blame former S.C. governor David Beasley for not picking up the phone when he and his wife, the lovely Mary Wood Beasley, saw “Donald Trump” calling late Friday evening.
“So, we have been complaining about the political phone calls that are driving us all up the wall,” Beasley wrote on his Facebook page. “Well, we were just laughing when a Trump call came in and I jokingly said ‘hey, Donald Trump is calling me!’ So, thinking that it was just another recorded message, we did not answer the phone and here is what we got when we checked our voicemail!”

Not a fan of David Beasley but this is a cool story. That would be my luck to miss such a call, but at least he has the message to hang on to and share.
