Here’s a tradition we hope to revive in 2016: “Today’s Tuneage.”  It’s basically our version of a jukebox, in which we commend songs to the attention of your earbuds.

Today’s “Tuneage?”  Adam Levine‘s fantastic cover of the 1984 classic “Purple Rain,” the title track from Prince’s sixth studio album (and his related Academy Award-winning feature film).

“Purple Rain” (the song) went to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 – while the album has sold more than 22 million copies worldwide.
