We did a post a few days ago on the University of South Carolina’s big basketball win over arch-rival Clemson.
This week, award-winning photo journalist Travis Bell released a nice trio of images (above) depicting the climactic moment of that game – a monster dunk from Gamecock junior forward Sindarius Thornwell.

South Carolina puts its undefeated record on the line this evening against St. John’s – which, ironically, was one of the teams featured in Coming To America. Tip off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EST. The game – televised nationally by CBS – is being played in Uncasville, Connecticut as part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout.

yeah keep trying to say that. A few years back when Clemson had Barnes as a coach everyone thought they were going to win the ACC and jumped on the bandwagon. You only don’t like it because you suck at it. Same for baseball. Clemson fans bragged about having Kahlil Green and Michael Johnson and were the #2 seed in Omaha but back to back loses to USC they started saying it didn’t matter. It only seems to matter when you win. I wonder will you still say that when OU beats you? I guess you will get your participation award and brag about “being there”

I don’t know who wrote the headline of this article but who ever did should never write on the subject matter of basketball ever again because you are so inadequate it is beyond belief. And squishy123 when ever Carolina has 40,000 plus fans in Death Valley like we had at your stadium this year then talk about loyalty, I have Carolina buddies of mine ask me for basketball tickets to the Clemson game that have not been to a game in 6 seasons. The ultimate in fly by night fans remember stay for the whole football game so you miss half time traffic at Willy B. And basketball and baseball mean a lot to me even if we are not very good still attend games still give money.
