Yesterday it was former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania (read our report on that here), today it’s Wisconsin governor Scott Walker.
Walker has polled as high as 17 percent nationally during this race, but is currently receiving the support of only three percent of GOP voters nationally according to the latest composite data from Real Clear Politics.
He’s also the subject of numerous national stories questioning his ongoing viability …
In early-voting South Carolina, Walker was one of the early frontrunners – but a flurry of recent surveys has him polling below four percent in the “First in the South” primary.
Like many of the other establishment candidates, he’s been drowned out by the rise of Donald Trump. He’s also been hurt by taking certain establishment positions …
Anyway, numerous 2016 campaigns have been floating the rumor that Walker is making “deep cuts” to his operation in South Carolina.
Sources close to Walker’s campaign tell us those rumors are false.
“Tough times for sure but mission hasn’t changed at this point,” one Walker source told us.
So far only one candidate – former Texas governor Rick Perry – has dropped out of the 2016 race (and thank God for that).
We are clearly in the midst of the first major “winnowing” stage of the race, though …

Like Kasich he was a good governor.You only have a ‘small’ window to introduce yourself to the American people and although a good and decent man that defeated not ONLY the unions but Obama and the DNC, Walker (and Kasich)never connected on the ONLY issue that matters in 2016…

Trump has tied immigration (in a way voters can understand) to the economy,crime,trade and foreign policy. Not a damn thing or debate will change that.

Walker is much smarter than Obama. Obama was able to navigate law school because he was a well known social agitator on campus and black.

Last night I asked Trump about kicking out the Muslims, including that fake in the White House. But that’s not all that concerns me. First off, Carly looks a little Middle Eastern to me, I think she needs to go. And what about those Frenchy French slim-balls up there in Quebec. They come down into New Hampshire and want all this snotty food, an fawn grasse crap. I want them stopped too. And I want to see Jeb’s wife’s Green Card and certificate of citizenship.
