Jeb Bush Disses “The Donald” As A Fearmonger

“A REPUBLICAN WILL NEVER WIN BY STRIKING FEAR IN PEOPLE’S HEARTS”

|| By FITSNEWS ||  Establishment “Republican” favorite Jeb Bush took a swing at the GOP’s newest 2016 frontrunnerDonald Trump – basically calling the sharp-tongued billionaire a fearmonger.

Oh, he also compared Trump to Barack Obama.

“On our side there are people that prey on people’s fears and their angst as well.  I don’t know about you, but I think it is wrong,” Bush said during a campaign stop in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  “I believe we need to unify our country.  We need to stop tearing – separating ourselves by race and ethnicity and income. We need to focus on the things that tie us together.”

Mmm-kay.

“Whether it’s Donald Trump or Barack Obama their rhetoric of divisiveness is wrong,” Bush added.  “A Republican will never win by striking fear in people’s hearts. A Republican can win, and will win, if we have an aspirational message that gives people hope that their lives will be better when we apply conservative principles the right way.”

Wait … aspirational? Hope and change?

How Obama-esque.

With all due respect to Bush, the last two times “Republicans” went with squishy centrists, they got their asses handed to them.  Also, the last two times “Republicans” won elections – in 2010 and 2014 – they proceeded to govern like Democrats.

Like him or not, Trump is tapping into something Bush and other establishment “Republicans” aren’t.

And they don’t like it one bit.
