LAWMAKER’S 2010 OPPONENT URGES “FREE MARKET CONSERVATIVE” TO SEEK SEAT
|| By FITSNEWS || Mande Wilkes – whose opinion columns run in The (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) Sun News and here on FITS – has released a statement in response to the sudden resignation of S.C. representative Nelson Hardwick from the S.C. House of Representatives (news of which was exclusively reported here).
Wilkes ran against Hardwick in 2010 – drawing 45.6 percent of the vote.
“It is with regret that I have learned of S.C. Rep. Nelson Hardwick’s resignation,” Wilkes said. “I trust that the grievances against him will face whatever scrutiny is proper, and whatever the result of the investigation I trust that a just result will follow.”
Hardwick has been accused of making unwanted romantic advances toward a female staffer at the S.C. House.
“As I have no personal knowledge about the veracity of the claims, I decline to comment on them at this time,” Wilkes added. “Following the resignation, it is my hope that a committed free-market conservative will step up to serve the people of District 106.”

A nudie would have indicated she would run in order to draw attention to a new reality TV show she is putting together.
How qualified is she? If she’s qualified then so are other bloggers such as Will, Brad Warthen, Shop Tart and Mande.
Qualifications to be a SC State Representative? I didn’t know there were any other than being able to spell your name for the ballot.

She’s about as much a “free-market conservative” as FITS…They claim it…when they want credibility…but their claims are Bull-$#!t…
Mande would make a better state representative than Katrina “turn my back on my constituents” Shealy makes a senator. That’s for sure and certain. She’s more of a free-market conservative than Crony Capitalist Nikki Haley is again that’s for sure.

Sen. Shealy has always been who she is. Agree or not, she has not turned her back on core beliefs.
Mande’s idea of free-market is to have our service men disobey orders, be tried by military judges, and ruin their life for trying to protect our country.
Beautiful as she is, she has nothing of substance to write or run on. When someone starts a comment with Wuuuut? It’s over.
I might add, she feels they should disobey orders, based on what I have read, simply because she does not agree with their actions and no chain of command.

This is a surprise. If she runs, it’s going to be quite a pivot to go back to cherry red lipstick, long hair in a bun and horned rimmed glasses.
