TRUMP STAFFS UP IN EARLY-VOTING PALMETTO STATE

|| By FITSNEWS || Billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump is expanding his team in early-voting South Carolina.

“The Donald” has hired a prominent Tea Party activist and a former staffer to “Republican” governor Nikki Haley – adding to his existing network of operatives.

Trump has hired Gerri McDaniel of Myrtle Beach – one of the leaders of the S.C. Tea Party Coalition and the organizer of the group’s annual conventions.  Prior to that, she was former U.S. Speaker Newt Gingrich‘s 2012 presidential campaign field director for South Carolina’s seventh congressional district.

In addition to McDaniel, Trump has hired former Haley staffer Jeff Taillon – who after serving on Haley’s 2010 campaign (and later in her gubernatorial office) ran S.C. lieutenant governor Henry McMaster‘s successful 2014 campaign.

McDaniel will be Trump’s statewide field director, while Taillon will be his South Carolina political director.

“Jeff and Gerri are extremely valuable additions to our growing team,” said Ed McMullen, who has been heading up Trump’s South Carolina efforts since late February.  “We look forward to sharing Mr. Trump’s vision to make America great again with the hard working people of South Carolina.”

Trump is expected to formally enter the “Republican” presidential field in June …
