WILL YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE RECEIVING A LITTLE LESS POISON THAN USUAL?

|| By FITSNEWS || For the first time in more than a half century the federal government is scaling back its recommended dosage of fluoride in public water supplies – something it should have done years ago given the abundant evidence attesting to the toxicity of the chemical.

According to new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), municipal water supplies should be fluoridated at 0.7 milligrams per liter as opposed to 1.2 milligrams per liter.  Why the reduction?  Because people are getting too much fluoride – resulting in, well, fluoride poisoning.

“Studies have shown fluoride increases cancer risk, reduces IQs in children, causes arthritis symptoms and is an endocrine disrupter,” conservative author Bob Livingston wrote for his Personal Liberty website.

Livingston is absolutely correct on each of those points … in fact the government knew fluoridation was bad decades before it started encouraging it in the early 1960s, ostensibly to prevent tooth decay.

In South Carolina, a whopping 93.8 percent of those served by community water systems are receiving fluoridated water, according to 2012 data.  That’s the ninth-highest percentage in the nation – well above the national average of 74.6 percent.

There is currently no state law governing water fluoridation.  It is exclusively up to local governments to determine how much of the chemical to put into the water supply.  In other words they don’t have to follow the new federal guidelines … they can keep right on poisoning you and your kids (without your consent) at whatever level they wish.

+100 to both comments. My parents taught me not to eat paint chips in 1939. I preferred Benzene and Xylene to airplane glue.

Unfortunately, after enjoying both for several years, I can no longer get a decent deep breath.

The paint chips aren’t nearly as tasty since they took the lead out. He probably sniffed too much model airplane glue in the 50s and 60s.

Actually, GT, the right wing began ranting and raving about fluoridation back in the ’60s. It was a major issue for the John Birch Society, etc. Groups like them and the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade branded fluoridation a communist plot to kill Americans. Pat Robertson has kept the faith with anti-fluoridation on the Christian Right, and still rails against it every now and then. And while it has also become more of a so-called “liberal” issue (meaning environmental, which should not be either right or left), some Tea Party groups also mount opposition to fluoride. So, as usual you are off the rails on this one. You lose!

But thanks for playing. Be sure to pick up a copy of the home game on your way out.

But you have had the advantage of living at Myrtle Beach for a relatively long time. So MUCH natural fluoride in the water that my beautiful niece has brown marks on her teeth that show where her braces were…. but not a single cavity. An “unintended benefit (side effect) may be that she will never have “Dowager’s Hump” as fluorine hardens the spine.

And do you know why that is??
It is because of DISINFECTION OF WATER!!!
i recently read that public health officials stated for the record that the biggest world wide thing that increased human life expectancy was the treatment/disinfection of water.
Before the treatment of water, water borne illnesses were the biggest cause of illness related deaths in the world.
And ultra-conservative dicks (not the liberals) want to slam/gut the EPA (which is a federal agency).

Glad to see its acceptable levels reduced but I agree with Fits, it should have been eliminated from our water as an additive, years ago. Actually, it should have never beem added to start with.

No one should be forced to consume a drug or a chemical without informed consent.
“Informed consent is a basic policy in both ethics and law that physicians must honor,” the A.M.A. says on its Code of Ethics page.

This statement is also found in the AMA’s published book, “Code of Medical Ethics,” on the bottom half of page 269

Flouride in tap water is common and most people know it is put into tap water. People give consent by putting a glass up to the faucet and drinking what comes out.

Reply
jwillie6 May 6, 2015 at 3:06 pm

Very funny, but childish.
People pay for their water and deserve pure water without the toxic waste fluoride in it.

Reply
Squishy123 May 6, 2015 at 5:20 pm

Ever hear of water filters? There’s a reason why people in countries like England have fucked up teeth… its because they don’t put fluoride in their drinking water.

Reply
jwillie6 May 6, 2015 at 5:26 pm

Wow! Is that a scientific conclusion?
Filters for fluoride are expensive. People already pay for their water and shouldn’t have to pay again for filters.

Simply remove the fluoride from drinking water and then you can add as much as you wish to your own glass of water.

handwringer May 7, 2015 at 12:44 am

most water filters don’t filter out fluoride, I know I sell them.
You need a reverse osmosis water filter to filter out fluoride, not cheap

“Childish”? Jwillie, who believes that because water flows from his faucet he is somehow forced to drink it…..is calling someone else “childish”?

Oh, now that’s truly comical!

Here’s a question, willie……….if you believed your water was laced with cyanide, would you drink it? If so, then you are desperately in need of help. If not, then you obviously don’t believe any of the hogwash you fabricate about fluoridated water.

Got news for you, any water you consume either from a public utility, well or commerically purchased like your “Aqua-Pure” 12 oz bottled water AIN’T “pure”
The only water that is considered “pure” is water that is 18 megohms-centimeter in resistivity.
You get that from a very expensive ion exchange system to produce laboratory grade reagent water (known in laboratory circles as a D.I. system)

Reply
jwillie6 May 8, 2015 at 10:40 am

Call it pure or whatever you want. Just don’t add the toxic waste, hydrofluorosilicic acid, and slowly poison everyone.
But if you wish to add it to your glass of water, help yourself.

Limbaughsaphatkhunt May 6, 2015 at 9:09 pm

But the A.D.A. supports fluoride in water. Perhaps we should stage a battle royale b/w the doctors and the dentists. I’m thinking something along the lines of battle of the network stars meets wipeout

That’s really bizarre. You should report this to the appropriate authorities if it keeps happening to you.

Put as much fluoride as you wish in your own glass of water.
Leave the rest of us out of it.
Then everyone will have freedom of choice and be happy.

I don’t understand(too much fluoride?), I thought government said it was completely safe at the previous levels.

Next thing you know the food pyramid the government has been saying is healthy will be turned upside down.

/// Brown Teeth • 2 hours ago

The Grand Strand area has too much natural fluoride in its well water. Been known for decades. It may explain some things. //

My father’s family came from Horry, but like him, I was born in NC. Missed out completely on the brown teeth thing. Brown and yellowish, actually, but not evenly distributed. Growing up in MB after we moved there in ’56, you could tell who grew up out in the country, since they had the brown teeth. A great many of those who I later learned were related to me had them.

Getting rid of the brown teeth, for those families that cold afford to do so, was mighty expensive. But it was considered a necessary expense to those who were upwardly socially mobile, as brown teeth were stigmatized pretty strongly. Funny, it’s one of those things people down here rarely talk about, because almost all of the ones from “the old families” either had that discoloration or had kin who did, to the shame of many of them.

It’s kind of like being of Indian descent. Up until the last 20 years, almost nobody here would even discuss it. But it’s a major part of the genetic makeup of Horry Countyites. Who, smack-talk to the contrary, are really no more inbred than the average South Carolinian.

A now-long-retired dentist who did volunteer work with poor kids in Columbia said that cavities practically disappeared when the city started fluoridating the water. They mostly did other dental care then rather than drilling and filling.

Years ago I met an itinerant hippie-like carpenter around 30 or so who looked just like Jesus’ picture in the Sunday School books. He told my friends and me that fluoride “rotted out that part of your brain that resisted communism.”

Even the CDC backed down about 2000 and admitted that any perceived benefit from fluoride was predominantly TOPICAL, as in toothpaste – not from swallowing it.

There are several negatives associated with drinking it that are also pretty
universally agreed to:
– Fluoride is an enzyme poison and endocrine disruptor.
– Fluoride is a “potent adjuvant”… causes or worsens allergies
– Fluoride is a “proliferative agent”… causes or worsens inflammations
– Fluoride builds up in bones…. causing or worsening arthritis and
brittleness
– Fluoride impacts thyroid functioning

– Fluoride is a “burden” to kidneys… causing increased retention and possible damage in those with renal inefficiencies or chronic kidney disease.

Brush your teeth with it if you want, but those of us with allergies or Celiac
disease; arthritis or brittle bones; and/or kidney or thyroid disease would
rather not subject our entire bodies to it.

Segments of the population are unusually susceptible to the toxic effects of
fluoride. They include “postmenopausal women and elderly men, pregnant woman
and their foetuses, people with deficiencies of calcium, magnesium and/or
vitamin C, and people with cardiovascular and kidney problems….Post menopausal
women and elderly men in fluoridated communities may also be at risk of
fractures.” – USPHS Report (ATSDR TP-91/17, pg. 112, Sec.2.7, April 1993)

and The NKF advises it may be “prudent”
to monitor the fluoride intake of “patients with chronic renal impairment, children, those with excessive fluoride intake, and those with prolonged disease.” – National Kidney Foundation, Fluoride Intake in Chronic Kidney Disease, April 15, 2008

Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face. You know when fluoridation first began? 1946. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy? It’s incredibly obvious, isn’t it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That’s the way your hard-core Commie works.

Do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk… ice cream–children’s ice cream! Have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water? That’s why I drink only rain water and grain alcohol. I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
