“NEOCONSERVATIVE” SCARE CAMPAIGN IN FULL SWING …

|| By FITSNEWS || As U.S. Senator Rand Paul begins a game of addition he hopes will equate to a “Republican” presidential nomination, one special interest group is hoping to subtract some support from his just-announced candidacy.

The so-called “Foundation for a Secure and Prosperous America” – another fearmongering outfit – has launched a $1 million advertising buy targeting Paul’s foreign policy.

Specifically, the organization claims Paul is aligned with U.S. president Barack Obama on the issue of negotiating with Iran over its nuclear program.

“Rand Paul is wrong and dangerous,” the ad’s narrator states.

And just like the last Iran scaremonger spot, this one ends with the image of a nuclear weapon detonating.  Seriously, “neoconservatives.”  Lyndon Johnson called.  He wants his preferred method of whoring for the military-industrial complex back.

The ad is airing, among other places, in early-voting South Carolina … where we suspect it will (sadly) find a very receptive audience.

Anyway, here’s the spot …

(Click to play)

Yeah …

Where are we on all this?  Well, we’ve obviously expressed our doubts about Paul’s candidacy … but this sort of attack strikes us as a sign of desperation on the part of his enemies.

Which reminds us, if you’re a taxpayer who genuinely values their life, liberty and security … these should also be your enemies …

This is TEST 1 for Rand to prove himself to Americans, sick of leaders who hate us, and think our desire for peace is the problem….

To listen to RonPaul…The US was a Warmonger vs the world domination attempt by the murderous NAZI regime…

If Rand does not take a stand for our right to defend ourselves from radical and wild Islam…his candidacy is dead in the water….

If he had a chance…he better stand up for US early…we’ve been bashed and battered by the White House for six-plus years…he cannot pick up hating us, where Obama left off…

Looks like Karl Rove’s benefactor rino-buds @ General Dynamics have ponied up to make another “swift boat” beatdown of a “peacenik”.

Kerry deserved it, Paul not!

Are you suggesting the SWIFT boat ads from 2004 were not accurate? Oh do tell –

Yeah – that wasn’t exactly how I meant to phrase it.

Now they’re gonna call you a Kerry lover! But I’ll stand with you. I stil have my American flag made of beads from the Kerry campaign. It’s great on backpack zippers.
NOTE: Should not be displayed at bars while drinking tequila with young Marine’s home for a funeral.

Yet another flip-flop, how surprising. Get your Rand flip flops via my posted link above.

How can it be a flip flop when he’s never actually taken a public position?

Kerry fought for this country. More than Chicken Hawks Bush and Cheney ever did and I suspect more than you have ever done for anyone.
Rand is nothing more than a watered down version of his nutty father.

I haven’t believed a word Kerry has said since April 1971 and wouldn’t piss on him if he were on fire.

Baker April 7, 2015 at 2:20 pm

He would probably feel the same about you. I guess without more info, I do as well. You sound like a typical tea nut to me.

idcydm April 7, 2015 at 2:25 pm

I don’t care how the SOB or you feel about me. Just because you think I’m a tea nut doesn’t make it is so but if it’s between tea nuts and Kerry or you I’ll take the tea nuts every time.

BTW how many tea nuts did you know in 1971?

Baker April 7, 2015 at 2:45 pm

What? You don’t think people should make judgements about people they don’t know and have never met, based on unproven information and their political opinions? Sound familiar?

In my experience most Tea Party Nuts are over 60, watch Fox News, and spout Republican talking points. So far that describes you.

idcydm April 7, 2015 at 4:30 pm

Did I say you couldn’t make a judgement, I just said your judgment is wrong. In my experience people that label others are close minded be they republican or democrat.

Like I said I haven’t believed a thing Kerry has said since April 1971.

“based on unproven information”… April 22, 1971 is not unproven information.

Wow – I am impressed – got a sense of humor – you done good!

Rocky April 7, 2015 at 1:57 pm

That ad is a perfect illustration of the issue within the GOP. So the underlying message is – “You should dislike Rand Paul, because he agrees with Obama about negotiating with Iran, and Iran the enemy, and we shoudl be at war with them, so if you’re not for war with Iran, you’re an Obama lover.” The problem with that message is – 60% of American support the talks with Iran. Half of Republicans do. Rand Paul is the ONLY GOP candidate who advocates for expanding the Party, addressing the concerns of the non-base. Yet they attack him, sticking instead to a narrative that voters clearly will reject. I’m starting to view the Establishment GOP as the Religous Council of Israel facing the prophet Rand Paul, and changing, “Give us Barabas. Kill him – the King of the Jews.” I worried the GOP might win in 2016, but with the attacks starting on Rand like this – I’m feeling much better. But the joke is on them. Rand Paul will be the next Republican President of the United States. If not 2016 (and probably not) – in 2020.

If people don’t keep saying it, we might forget what the last Republican in power did to us. Three Trillion dollars and thousands of lives buried in the deserts of the middle east, and nothing to show for it. Bill Kristol and the other neo-cons have made it clear that an invasion of Iran is the only answer and that we must invade sooner or later. They prefer sooner.

I say, hell no, to another war orchestrated by chicken hawk Republicans, and contracted out to Halliburton or whatever other company the Republicans want to sell the country out to for a few hundred billion in war profits..

If the FITS-Liberal-Tarains have already decided to ATTACK the national security faction of the GOP, he’s finished before he gets started…

If Rand-Paul is not using ALL his might to unload haymaker after haymaker upon Obama and Hillary..and articulating what a TOTAL F*#king DISASTER the Democrats have been…he’s toast, already…

Maybe you’ve got me bamboozled, but that site looks real. If it is, his administrative choices are poor already. The only thing that has me still questioning the site’s authenticity is the lack of a “I sit on the couch eating Dorritos for Rand!” Bong for sale.

So how does Rand Paul fight back against the charge that he’s too weak on nat’l security issues? Why, he transforms into a neocon warmonger himself, of course. Did you watch his campaign kick-off speech?

PSO is dead on. Paul will respond by adopting GOP dogma on reluctant world-cop machismo.
