SHEHEEN: HONEST LEADERSHIP REQUIRES ETHICAL LEADERS

Camden, SC – Sen. Vincent Sheheen released this statement today following the indictment of Speaker Bobby Harrell:

“I have long fought to bring real, enforceable ethics reform to South Carolina’s government, but most importantly we need leaders who want to abide by the letter and the spirit of the law and earn the trust of the people who elected them. With repeat-offender Nikki Haley at the top of the Republican ticket, and her repeated and flagrant disregard for ethical standards, it’s no wonder that the Republican leadership in Columbia is so corrupt. It’s time for a change and new, honest leadership. I believe that at this time it is appropriate for Speaker Harrell to step down from his position pending the outcome of this situation.”

I have lived through some of my GOP Party corruption. Not pretty, fair, or honest results. Dirty Club in the house. Disgusting Judges wired to the state Reps.

How about RECALL ELECTIONS Vincent?
Do you support giving the people a tool and a means of combating this overwhelming corruption and malfeasance?
The evidence is overwhelming:
Richard Eckstrom
Nikki Haley
Mark Sanford
The Peelers
Bobby Harrell
Jean Toal
Danny Frazier
Numerous indicted Sheriffs
How many more not yet caught, or found out?

Don’t worry, the old and busted crooks will be replaced by newer, slicker ones.

that’s my main concern with Gilligan, Niki is an amateur at best. Shebeen is a school trained professional crook.

Recall election needed September 11, 2014 at 8:23 am

Enhance governmental accountability by allowing registered voters to recall
elected officials who violate the trust placed in them by the electorate. Many
states allow such recall efforts if enough voters are upset with the actions of
an elected official. We in South Carolina need this ability as well. This is a
strong weapon in maintaining government OF the people, BY the people and FOR the
people instead of government by special interests.
South Carolina needs this!

Strangely, Sheheen only talks about 1 issue in his campaign ads: computer gate. Which most SC Citizens don’t understand, and Haley could easily be given a free pass. While Sheheen completely ignores all the other numerous real public rip offs that Haley has done. No wonder the Democrats don’t get elected. Their campaigns are run by BOBBLE HEADS.

Remember the big sting back in late 80s and early 90s when all the black Democratic State Senators got busted. There is GOP corruption, and there is Democratic corruption. And there is Thomas Ravenel corruption.

Whoa, Vinny!!! You were all in with your supporting Bobby Harrell in his quest to keep corrupt Jean Toal as chief justice. What a hypocritical statement here. Tell us why you supported Toal and Harrell. You have never done that.
