South Carolina Is Wondering: Where Is Murrell Smith’s Promised Tax Cut?

Why can’t Peeler and Murrell sit down and strike a consensus deal on this and stop with the one-upmanship. This is the kind of unproductive strutting and posturing showmanship in the GOP Legislature that gets us nowhere. Same goes for Sen. Grooms & Goldfinch’s “Mussolini Show Trial Circus” (TM) against Curtis Loftis. And then of course there is the mercurial Nacy Mace airing all her dirty laundry in the most unbecoming of fashion on the floor of Congress hurling insults at our Attorney General despite the fact that she knows damn well that it is the local solicitors and law enforcement who are first-tier responsible for investigating her claims and she had Alan Wilson’s personal cell phone number the entire time and not once called him to share her situation. People need to take careful note of these types of politicians who will gleefully drop a knife in someone’s back or create a dumpster fire circus in the media just for the sake of drawing attention to themselves in their pursuit of higher political power.
