Conservative politics is basically just robbing Peter after Peter to pay Paul after Paul until the scam collapses and taxpayers are left holding the bill.
Why bother giving drivers any relief at all? No point in coddling them when the Iran conflict will continue to spiral out of control and cause oil shortages that haven’t been seen for decades. Better they understand this isn’t just a bump in the road, but a beginning to much, much worse things not much further ahead.
