Politicos from across the country were focused on the Palmetto State this week as South Carolina’s most powerful political organization – the “neoconservative” empire created by the late Lindsey Graham – faced its toughest challenge yet.
Six weeks after Graham’s sudden death in Washington, D.C., his sister – Darline Graham Nordone – staved off conservative stalwart Ralph Norman in a fiercely contested Republican runoff election. The race saw allies of her late brother throw millions of dollars into promoting her candidacy (and attacking Norman) – a battle that hasn’t ended after the votes were counted.
After recapping that race – and addressing loads of lingering resentment between these two warring GOP factions – I sat down with research director Jenn Wood to discuss the renewed national focus on the case of Mica Francis Miller – the late wife of former Myrtle Beach, S.C. pastor John-Paul Miller.

Jenn detailed the new Netflix documentary focused on the Miller saga, and also provided an extensive update on the increasingly promising appeal of the ‘Rose Petal Murder.’

I repeat everywhere relevant I can on all Micah Miller-related stories:
Don’t ever gloss over what Micah did: She took A HUMAN LIFE even if it were only her own.
Don’t ever forget what suicide is: The taking of A HUMAN LIFE not in defense of others.
If you think there is no excuse for the taking of a human life not in defense of others, then there should be no excuse for suicide.
By glorifying Micah you inadvertently but surely give excuse to the bullied of the world to consider suicide.
STOP doing that!
You are first and foremost IRREPARABLY harming YOUR OWN CHILDREN/Grandchildren for cheap clicks; and some after-the-fact lectures about the worth of their own lives will have little effect after they see how you excused and glorified a suicidant.
STOP it if you want your children free from the temptation of suicide in response to every little annoyance, every deprivation, and/or very rejection!
If you take no other warning from my later-vindicated writings throughout the years, take THIS ONE!
I had to repeat it in reply to a commenter:
@ClinkOH, If taking a human life, other than in defense of others, is never justified in your view, then suicide should NEVER be justified. Again, do NOT justify or glorify a suicidant. THINK of how that influences the thinking of your children and/or grandchildren. THINK, people, think of the consequences of what you say and/or write!
I will never vote for Darline Nordone, Guess I’ll be voting blue for senator in December.

Why do you want me to “shut UP” if my words could prevent even one suicide?
Do you hate that Miller so-called pastor guy (whom I, and presumably you) never met or heard of before this story so much that you want to risk some teen-ager thinking suicide is glamorous or “the only way out,” all to keep piling on that false-prophet Miller guy?

@ellezLife , actually, the likelihood is substantial if those spouses are faced with infidelity of the same spouse and live in a culture that values mortals’ opinions more than the Laws of God. A person intent on committing suicide would NATURALLY go towards what terrified him/her in life. Think about it! If Mr. Skinner was really “terrified of water,” it would have been because water is a risk to his wheelchair-bound life. Once he decided to commit suicide, he would no longer be “terrified” of what could end his life BECAUSE he wanted to end his own life. Capice?
