Your comments about lumping numbers are fair, but you completely avoided Climer’s central point: that fact that MUSC receives state tax dollars [and can raise funds via tax exempt bonding, which I don’t think Climer mentioned – at least not in detail ] and the private sector does not. Sure, you can push back on the dollar amounts, but you cannot deny that fact. You might want to get behind Climer in the lne for the pencil sharpener as well.
