Whole residential developments and construction sites are empty of workers according to Charlotte Alerts. 25 years ago, I moved to Charlotte and was looking for a new home while wearing my dress uniform (the old, ugly, green one). As I rounded the corner of a new house to look inside, an “undocumented worker” saw me a yelled “la migra”! Workers from all over the new development immediately began to flee and I noticed that one guy, a mason, didn’t. I asked him (he was obviously a WASP) if he was the only legal worker on the job site and he laughed and said that in fact he was…
Good story! Proof that ICE needs to be here enforcing our immigration laws!
Of the 370 arrested, only 44 had any criminal record. They are really focused on “BAD” guys!
If they are here in violation of our immigration laws, guess what? They ARE criminals, so the arrests are justified and legitimate.
