Democrats’ decision to oust incumbent president Joe Biden from their 2024 ticket is having its desired effect in at least one swing state that’s critical to the upcoming November election.
According to a new survey from Alpharetta, Georgia-based Landmark Communications, vice president Kamala Harris has pulled Democrats within striking distance of former president and 2024 GOP nominee Donald Trump in the Peach State.
Per the survey, Trump draws 48 percent of the vote to Harris’ 46.7 percent in a head-to-head matchup – a narrow 1.3 percent lead. When third party candidates are included, Trump gets 45.8 percent to Harris’ 44.3 percent – a 1.5 percent advantage.
Both of those leads were well within the survey’s five percent margin of error – and well below the edge Trump held over Harris in the immediate aftermath of Biden’s withdrawal from the race. For comparison purposes, Trump led Biden in Georgia by 4.4 percent at the time of the incumbent’s exit from the race, according to a rolling average of various polls compiled by RealClearPolling.

Landmark’s survey polled 400 likely Peach State voters on July 22, 2024 – the day after Biden’s exit from the race. Its results are consistent with what Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio predicted in a memo sent to the former president’s supporters earlier this week regarding a “Harris honeymoon.”
“We will start to see public polling – particularly national public polls – where Harris is gaining on or even leading President Trump,” Fabrizio’s memo (.pdf) noted.
Official results showed Biden winning 2,473,633 votes in Georgia four years ago – just 11,779 more than Trump. This razor thin 0.23 percent victory margin – which Trump disputed – gave Biden all sixteen of the Peach State’s electoral votes.
Georgia is one of six critical battleground states (Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are the others) where polling has shown Trump leading Biden for many months. In fact, it was Biden’s lingering struggles in these states which prompted Democrats to push him off of the ticket in favor of Harris.
Count on this media outlet to keep our audience in the loop as it relates to the latest numbers from these election-determining “swing states.” Also, as you digest the newest numbers bear in mind Trump outperformed the polls in both the 2016 and 2020 election cycles.

Check your news sources, it was actually the Democrats who wanted him out. Polling numbers showed that he couldn’t beat Trump so they forced him out. Shooting Trump didn’t work, so Plan B was to get rid of Biden. Kamala still isn’t guaranteed the nomination, there are still some big names out there who haven’t endorsed her. Black Jesus is holding out for his husband Mike’s name to be called.

As for shooting Trump, if Joe wanted to do that he could just do what Trump said he could. Send in Seal Team 6. How could the Trump camp argue? Trump said before the Supreme Court the President could do it and have immunity. You nuts are truly pathetic.

It’s scary to think that the two “best options” we have for president are “Kamamala” and Trump.
