Hunter Biden Found Guilty On Gun Charges

“You could knock me over with a feather …”

First son Hunter Biden was convicted by a federal jury on three felony gun charges on Tuesday (June 11, 2024) in Wilmington, Delaware. The verdicts shocked many conservatives who suspected the only surviving son of president Joe Biden might receive preferential treatment from America’s increasingly political “justice” system.

He did not – at least not on these charges.

And at least not today …

“You could knock me over with a feather,” our columnist Prioleau Alexander wrote on Facebook in response to the verdicts.

“Wow, I did not see this coming,” conservative social media commentator Ian Miles Cheong added.

Biden, 54, reportedly stared ahead absent emotion as the jury found him guilty of illegally possessing a firearm, making false representations on a firearm application and lying to a federally licensed gun dealer in connection with his October 2018 purchase of a .38 Special Colt Cobra revolver.

As his attorneys vowed to appeal, Biden exited the courtroom with his step-mother, first lady Jill Biden, and second wife, Melissa Cohen Biden.

Joe Biden did not attend the trial, but issued a statement shortly after the verdict was announced offering his full-throated support for his son.

“Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support,” the president said. “Nothing will ever change that.”

As for Biden’s 2024 rival, Donald Trump, his campaign issued a statement drawing attention to the alleged sins of the father.

“This trial has been nothing more than a distraction from the real crimes of the Biden crime family, which has raked in tens of millions of dollars from China, Russia and Ukraine,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said. “Crooked Joe Biden’s reign over the Biden Family criminal empire is all coming to an end on November 5th, and never again will a Biden sell government access for personal profit.”

Biden is still facing a federal trial in September over allegations that he failed to pay more than $1.4 million in taxes. He also remains at the center of the U.S. House’s impeachment proceedings against his father over their alleged pay-to-play dealings in Ukraine.

Our audience will recall how Joe Biden bragged on camera in January 2018 about getting Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin fired from his post. Specifically, he discussed how he threatened to withhold a billion dollars worth of U.S. loan guarantees if Shokin wasn’t removed from office.

“I said I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars,” Biden said. “I said you’re not getting the billion – I’m gonna be leaving here … in six hours, if the prosecutor is not fired you’re not getting the money.”

“Well son of a bitch – got fired,” Biden added, pausing for dramatic effect.

At the time of his ouster, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company that was facing global scrutiny for alleged money laundering operations. Bursima had previously appointed Hunter Biden to its board and given him a huge payday.

Biden has been under investigation since 2020, when initial reports of his criminal conduct were buried by the mainstream press and social media in the weeks leading up to his father’s election.

Remember when Republicans and this blog tried to claim the DOJ has become “weaponized” by Biden?

Thanks for a blog post debunking that absurd lie ;-)

Wait? So it’s very illegal to buy and possess guns while on illegal drugs?

Uhhhhhhbh, Republicans didn’t think that one through.

Wonder how many drug guzzling MAGA goons will now be in the Feds radar?

All for show.

Once again, Shokin was NOT investigating Burisma at the time and was corrupt. Democrats, Republicans, the EU and just about everybody else in the world agreed he should be gone. Will continues to misinform about this.

2A nuts are really having some confused boners about this verdict.

I guess the Trump campaign spokesmoron has no problem with Jared Kushner walking out of the White House with $2 billion from his good friend Mohammed bin Bonesaw.

Or, Ivanka and her Chinese patents; or all the money those foreign governments paid to stay in Trump hotels, they no longer use. The list goes on and on, the Trumps are apex grifters.

“The Hunter Biden gun conviction is kinda dumb tbh,” Matt Gaetz wrote on X moments after the ruling was released.

Gee, I wonder what Matt Gaetz was thinking. Does he own a gun? We all know about the cocaine orgies. Did Geetz lie on any federal forms about his drug use? This Sounds like this is something the Justice Department should look into.
