In other news, our Andy Fancher broke a big story in the Palmetto Upstate about a misbehaving city councilwoman – and apparent efforts to cover up her potentially criminal conduct. Andy also updated us on a story that drove headlines ahead of last week’s show, the grim discovery of a woman beaten within an inch of her life and dumped at a remote boat ramp in Jasper County.
For our final segment, I addressed the continuing controversy surrounding former South Carolina gubernatorial candidate Catherine Templeton – whom I’ve advised to drop out of her race for the Palmetto State’s first congressional district due to a pair of recent arrests involving her 18-year-old son.
