Anderson SC Sheriff Seeks Help In Locating Missing Juveniles

Boys thought to be with their non-custodial mother …

The Anderson County, South Carolina sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two missing juveniles.

According to a release from the department, 15-year-old Harry Leroy Hawkins and 13-year-old Jeremiah Hawkins were “last seen in Pendleton, S.C. where they reside with their grandmother.”

Police believe the children may be with their mother, 34-year-old Malaka Scott.

“They are thought to be with their non-custodial mother, Malaka Scott,” the release continued.  “Scott may be traveling between Anderson County, S.C. and Atlanta, Georgia.”

Anyone who has information about – or contact with – either of the children or their mother is urged to call the Anderson County sheriff’s office at 864-260-4400.

Here is the advisory we were provided from the sheriff’s office …

We would encourage any of our readers who may have seen either of these boys – or their mother – to contact Anderson County.  Hopefully they will be returned to their home unharmed and this situation will be sorted out to the benefit of all involved.
