If Election Day polls are accurate, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is going to wind up winning the presidency tonight.
Assuming that happens, the loser won’t just be GOP nominee Donald Trump … the rule of law in the United States would also suffer an ignominious defeat.
A Clinton victory would mean that a politician who created an illegal private email server to hide her corrupt pay-to-play activities, who then destroyed evidence related to this network (despite its contents being subpoenaed), who repeatedly lied about it (to Congress, the FBI and the American people) and who benefited from a political cover-up of the scandal has become most powerful person in America.
Hell, if Clinton wins she could even pardon herself come January 20.
What a country, huh?
If there were any justice in this country (and clearly, there’s not) Clinton would not be watching election night returns in a swanky private room at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Instead she’d be watching them (assuming she had television privileges) from a room at the United States Penitentiary, Administrative Maximum Facility (a.k.a. ADMAX) in Florence County, Colorado.
Frankly, that’s where she belongs …
