OBVIOUSLY!

The University of South Carolina football team is not suspending its punter, Sean Kelly, after he was arrested outside of a bar in downtown Columbia, S.C. over the weekend.

The 22-year-old kicker was charged with disorderly conduct and malicious injury to property following the incident, but head coach Will Muschamp says his program will handle the matter internally.

Translation? South Carolina is going to be punting the football a lot this year.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound redshirt senior – who transferred from Florida Atlantic University – averaged 44.3 yards per boot in 2015, his first season with the Gamecocks.

According to police reports, Kelly was involved in a dispute at The Saloon – a bar located in the Five Points area of Columbia, S.C. – at around 2:45 a.m. on Friday.

He had “an odor of alcoholic beverages” about him, according to police, and was allegedly being “loud and boisterous” as well.

What prompted police to arrest him?  According to reports, he threw someone’s cell phone against a wall after they took his picture.

Wait … he didn’t punt it?

Maybe this kid needs to try out for quarterback!
