So Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton held a rally in Kissimmee, Florida this week …
Sitting behind her in one of the all-too familiar “behold the diversity of my followers” seats? Seddique Mateen, the Taliban-loving, gay-hating father of the Orlando nightclub mass murderer Omar Mateen.
No really. This happened …
Not only that, Mateen – whose son murdered 49 people at a gay nightclub just up the road from where Clinton gave her speech – endorsed the Democratic nominee.
“Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions,” Mateen said.
Mateen even made a pro-Clinton sign which he displayed for local television station WPTV.

Awkward, right?
“It’s a Democratic party, so everyone can join,” Mateen told the station.
You can say that again …
Clinton’s campaign moved quickly to distance itself from the controversial guest, who has publicly praised “our warrior brothers in (the) Taliban movement” on a television program he produces.
Mateen has also apparently adopted the radical Islamic hatred of gay people.
“God will punish those involved in homosexuality,” he told CBS in the aftermath of the shooting, adding it was “not an issue that humans should deal with.”
“The rally was a 3,000-person, open-door event for the public,” Clinton’s campaign noted. “This individual wasn’t invited as a guest and the campaign was unaware of his attendance until after the event.”
You know, for once we don’t doubt that Clinton’s campaign is telling the truth … but imagine for a moment that a character like this showed up at a Donald Trump rally?
Would it be shelved (as the MSM is doing with this story?) Or would it be another weeklong feeding frenzy?
That’s the story here as far as we’re concerned …
